Home-made soups and stews here too. We no longer buy canned soup or mixes as they are packed to the max with salt.

Homemade soup is my go to favorite year 'round.....but there is something so comforting about a spicy bowl of chili and a piece of cornbread that really warms up a cold winter day.

Of course chili is the first thing I make when it cools down, sometimes we just can't wait and make some in the summer...But homemade soups in the winter for sure.
