Our "April showers" this year have been "showers" of snow and freezing rain.

Bizzaro weather this year. Cold/Hot, Cold/Hot! Wreaks havoc on my seeds. Not the usual spring.

Showers? The snow started in March and it kept on coming! Today it rained and snowed while the sun was shining! The Robins are back ... and the poor things seemed so confused.

It's the 109th of January.......sheesh, enough, already. Yesterday here it was nice, and supposed to be 60 on Sunday. We'll see about that. I think spring has wintered over in Fiji Islands and has not yet come back!!! LOL

New Mexico is once again entering severe drought conditions. We have had barely 3% of our average rainfall so far this year. It creates serious fire danger throughout the state. We can only water now before 7 a.m. and after 7 p.m. and for limited times. And the water police does watch! Oddly as our water usage goes down the rates go up! I will not be doing any planting this summer and will just water existing plants enough for them to survive.
