After reading the options again, would like to add that I [i]have[/i] a riding lawn mower, just don't use it.
I admit I have probably lost my mind somewhere along the garden way, but I really enjoy pushing the mower; esp since I rigged up that pair of 'shooting range' ear muffs with alternative-rock-n-roll headphone speakers. ; )

We have 2 riding mowers.............I use one, the Spousal Unit mows with the other one. It takes us 2 hours to mow...........that is with both of us mowing. Yes, we mow a lot, but, dang, it sure looks nice when it's done! :>)

Other: turned it into a wild flower meadow, and just cut it a couple of times a year. Much better for wildlife!
