Nothing is on the barbecue. It is cloudy, cool and rainy.

Soup is on the stove with grilled cheese sandwiches.

My grill will have steak. I defrosted it over Memorial Day Weekend. We had lots of rain and very windy weather, so today, we're having the steak.

Yesterday we smoked slabs of ribs with homemade rub and my secret family recipe bbq sauce. Plus I threw on some chicken strips to have tonight for fajitas. Delicious with fresh corn on the cob and baked beans. Then today a friend called DH and said they brought back fresh Redfish from Louisiana, so tonight we will fire it up again and have fresh grilled fish!

Yes, it was rainy, but our back porch is covered so we grill anyway.

Love hot dogs and just learned that Oscar Meyer has eliminated nitrates, nitrites and artificial flavorings from their dogs.
