I chose "Other," because I'm using the spring and early summer to restructure my garden area to grow edibles, fruit, herbs and wildlife-friendly plant in guilds over the whole property, in a food forest type manner.

I don't grow edibles, to me not worth the work involved. If I want something fresh there are enough farm stands to buy from.

We have five 4 by 8 raised beds for vegetables, tomatoes, Swiss chard, spinach, lettuce, green beans, sugar snappers, bok choy, and asparagus. One is asparagus only with somebody's and snap dragons for color later. Zone 5 does not accomodate planting before late May so we can't start them indoors (cats and lack of space)..
