Definitely prefer live plants over cut flowers. Along with deep, dark chocolate!

Nothing says, "I love you" like dirt! Always excited to tell people my husband literally gave me dirt for Valentine's Day! As in 10 bags of much needed cacti soil.

Men always look so surprised when I say this. My retort is, "Don't you wish your wife was so easy to shop for. You will never be accused of buying the wrong size, color or style and she'll never think you were being cheap. ". LOL

So yes...nothing says "I love you" to a gardener like dirt!

And of course I will never turn my nose up at a lovely bouquet of cut flowers or anything remotely chocolate or a nice evening at a good restaurant.

I am a woman after all. *eye roll*
