Too bad cactus blooms don\'t last longer.

Wish these would last more than a couple days.

I know what you mean. I have some that are closed up before I get home from work. Very nice!

Nice QCHammy.

QCHammy: That's a nice one. Do you know what it is?

Smashedcactus: How about setting up a remote camera that snaps photos all day long? 8')

Echinocereus pentalophus

Reno, NV(Zone 6b)

That's an odd looking cactus but the flowers are awesome.

Good idea DaisyPlantLady. I have a lot of foot traffic by my house, so I don't know how long it would stay there. I plan on retiring next year. Then I will get to enjoy them more.

A great picture of Echinocereus pentalophus. Or possibly E. berlandierii. My pentalophus are just now fading after a spectacular show.
