Getting ready for my big Independence Day with the kids! Going to BBQ stuffed burgers and chicken breasts, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, banana pudding and whatever the kids decide to put on the menu before I make it to the grocery store. Putting up my decorations tomorrow! Boys are cutting the grass and I'm spraying for mosquitoes! Got a box full of fireworks! We are almost ready! ♥

My 4th was great until my brother came back drunk and I had to have him arrested. Between my broken tooth and the stress of having to deal with my brother, the contractor, my mom, and everything else, my stress level went through the roof. Colitis flared up. Fibromyalgia flared up! Then depression set in. Went to the doctor yesterday and he added another med for depression. See the dentist Monday.
Colt and Angele are on their way to visit for 2 weeks! Excited to see all of them. Destiny and Keith have begun to pack to move into their place. Bittersweet about that. Journee is doing great in cosmetology school. She is now on the floor working with clients! I'm so proud of her!

Glad you like it Betty! All the fabrics in the jelly roll are some form of red, white, or blue. I cut those strips while I was making some quilt tops (I refused to throw away just under 2" strips, so I cut them down to size!) . . . I'll see if my camera cooperates today and take a picture of one of them, so you can better see some of the fabrics in the roll.

Dentist said the root was wrapped around the bone so I have to see an oral surgeon. Oh, this has not been a good month on my pocketbook! Praying for some relief! Tooth hurts and irritates the side of my mouth, but it is not infected! That's a good thing!

Well, I got my 2nd box from Joyce, and it was worth waiting for.
She made this beautiful stained glass flag. I will find a special place to hang it proudly.
