Two questions:

How many dimensions does this plant have? It appears to be flat (two sided).

Why do you think its a Euphorbia? (not trying to be smart, just wondering why you looked at this plant and said Euphorbia?)

Cville_Gardener: can't tell if it's Euphorbia fractiflexa or not ,can't find a photo on the net to see what it looks like.

DaisyPlantLady: the plant is 3 sided. ''Why do I think it's a Euphorbia?'' Why are you asking? I have been growing all kinds of Euphorbia's off and on for 30 years. So I know one when I see one. I do think you where trying to be smart ass.

Cville_Gardener; That's not it, My plant is more of a brown/green with a cream color fanned out from the center.

I got the ID from someone on FB. The name is Euphorbia buruana. Tanzania

I'm really not trying to be a smart a**. Sometimes the plant owner sees something in a plant that we can't see in a photo or fails to mention some small thing they saw that led them to that ID. I was searching for clues and needed more info.

It doesn't look much like E. fractiflexa to me based on the picture on this site http://www.euphorbia.de/fotoabc.htm
More like E. buruana but with reservations.
The spines make it look like a Euphorbia to me plus the color pattern. But I am not very experienced and would love more input.
