Hi all, thanks for your thoughts. Power and internet back an hour ago. Three days without everything.
No injuries, our house survived without damage.
Garden is a disaster. Large trees down with rootball holes the size of Smarty Cars. 14 inches of rain in 24hrs. Winds probably 70 mph. Will post more details and pics later. the east side of the island is a mess.

Front of one greenhouse wiped out by the top of a large evergreen, frame twisted and broken, probably a dozen epis crushed. If I can find them there will be cuttings. other greenhouses unscathed. Forest is so thick around us the wind at ground level was not bad, strong wind across the top of the forest is what took out the tall, top heavy trees.
Problem now is where to put the green waste as I clean up.

A small but intense thunderstorm blew through on Tuesday evening with 60 mph winds and a couple inches of rain. A half dozen big maples went down in the area but no damage here.
Garden is growing well but is a couple of weeks behind due to the cool weather. Plenty of rain so haven't had to water at all this summer!

I think I'd like to live in Montana if the winters weren't so severe. I'm wimpy with cold and wimpy with hot.

I've been MIA, sure a lot to catch up on. Weather has dried up a tad and the mosquitoes aren't so bad anymore. Still reaching low 90's most days, but early evenings have been around 80 thanks to cloud cover, so we've enjoyed sitting outside again.
Mike, I saw the news about the hurricane and thought about you, at least you're okay. I guess one tree isn't that bad, you sure have a lot of them. Sure a lot of water dumped on you.
