I have been seriously considering where I stored my sweatpants this week. Gonna bet on snow in Wyoming for August the way this year reminds me of the early 90's. Joliet, Il @ 11pm cdt. light breeze @6mph. 70* with 64%humidity. A few showers when I got to Gary Ind lasted 10miles and quit.
July weather, hot or not ?
Back to hot, sunny and dry with light night time showers. Should stay that way until later in the week. Last week it rained everyday for most of the day - really wet - no gardening.
Rain or not it was in the upper 70s. Today was just over 80f. Maui made 94f.
Got goose bumps in Green Bay. 52* - 84% humidity w/ 8mph winds, nnw. Wonder if winter clothes are in the stores yet, flannels are on the top of the list...
Partly cloudy to cloudy. Cool, 64º.
All week mid 80's daytime, mid 60's at night.
Maybe a shower.
They're calling for a high of 92F today. Some places got a trace of rain yesterday but not here. Someone at Venice Beach was struck by lightning and killed.

Currently 79 with a high around 81 and sunny. No breeze today.
They are calling for a high of 99F today. Yesterday got up to 102 or 104F. Over all, it's been a hot summer. It is never a cool summer but some summers are less hot.

Really nice weather for a couple of days, a bit cloudier today, fairly dry but hotter than normal.
Tropical Depression Genevieve passing south of the islands this weekend. May give us some heavy showers and high humidity on Friday and Saturday. low 70s at night, low 80s in the day time. Ground is drying out so can do more gardening.

Really nice photo shots, I like that milkweed and monarch, I actually have some of that milkweed from a native plant sale, but it still hasn't bloomed for me.
I envy the sweat pant weather, so not happening down here. At least the last three days we were spared the afternoon rains. And the cool front came through giving us a few days of lower humidity, but temps still make it to low/mid 90's.
They are calling for a high of 97F and the air conditioner is broken. I slept with the window open and the fan blowing across me. It was o.k., not great, but o.k.

That is true. I think the only times it has broken down were in July.
Fan. with wet towel to dry was always our desert a/c for pre window coolers chuckl. fans can be blessings.
