Thanks Jackie and Debra.

I'm glad I was up early to take these pics cause it was cloudy and threating of rain which came soon afterwards.

Your Saz is huge Jackie, I'm enjoying all the blooms from it.

Your Saz has this one side shoot that is making these huge white blooms. Today it had this first one blooming. The rest with more repeats.

Potted up the next batch of 2 day old seedlings.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Debra, Ronnie and Jackie.

My mgs are taking a little break, only a few bloomed today. I have another set of sprouted seedlings to get into their little pots.

More nice blooms Helena.
I'm glad you're still starting sds, I've got a few new ones coming along.
My oldest vines are 10 weeks old and still just tiny buds, I think it was the unusual
cold temps that just went on and on.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Those are pretty blues! Hard to pick a favorite!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. It shouldn't be too long before yours bloom Jackie. I'm sure the cold temps affected them, feeding them might speed them along.

It's been warming up here so I'm not spending a lot of time outside. I think my mgs are really slowing down now. I'm starting to check them for seeds and I saw my first pod turning brown on Keiryu. I hope I will be able to keep growing them next year and so on.

I agree! I sure hope Jackies get going soon. LK, are yours vining yet?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

All very pretty Helena. Enjoying your lovely white blooms since we see so few of the
whites.
Just pure torture for me having to wait so long Debra. :-(

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Mine are slow growing, they are about 3 - 4 inches right now! I hope they do something?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

LK, do you have yours in ground or in pots?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

In the ground.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

You are going to have a lot of glories blooming while ours are fading from onset of Fall, Linda. I promise you that .. I would keep planting all summer in your Zone.. but, I am a little glory crazy.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I planted more this morning! I hope I see some blooms this year!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, you had blooms last yr and I'm sure you'll get blooms this summer

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

finally a lone bloom..and a lot of vines..

That is very pretty!

Gautier, MS

Pretty bloom Debra, your plants look super good.

Yesterday, had to go pick up 12 year old g-son from Band camp and see his concert. Across from the college I saw where they test plants, made my day so had to take some pictures.
The third pic is a plant that grows wild here in MS in certain places and along the Southeast, a hummingbird plant.

Linda, if you can find bloom booster to water your mg it might speed up them into blooming. I already see tiny seeds in a few of my next batch of vines after transplanting them last week.

These bloomed today.

I will get some.I have been using miracle grow.

Love those blooms!

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda, Bloom booster is made by Miracle grow. There is another cheaper brand too, at least there use to be one awhile back.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Pretty purple color on that bloom Debra.

Lovely blooms Helena.. Is the 2nd one Blue Star?

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie.

I think it's a cross of blue star and flying saucer Jackie.

Only a few blooms today. I've been very happy at how both of my vines of DFNM have been blooming almost none stop.

Here's the tiny buds on my new vines.

Love the new buds!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, no wonder I couldn't tell if it's Blue Star or Flying Saucers. Wonderful bloom.

Your DFNM is making beautiful blooms.
Can you tell if it's making sd pods? I had to hand pollinate to get mine to set
seeds. Only my Shibori's, the speckled, were more stubborn with the seed pods.
