Very old gloxinia 15 years

This gloxinia was given to my sis about 15 years ago. I am hoping someone knows about dividing. Does it need it? It is filling a ten inch pot. It flowers profusely. This year it was dormant all spring and most of the summer. It is finally breaking dormancy in the picture. I do not want to kill it as it was given by my late father.

You might post there.

I undersand your fear, a plant in the same pot for fifteen years probably does need repotting. Maybe this long dormancy was a clue it's stating to have trouble.

My only advice right now is to wait til next spring before you do anything, they say its not really good to re-pot in the fall when they are getting ready for their long winters nap. She's a real beauty.

Thanks. It has been repotted a few times. I am sorry I was not clear on that. I was wondering more about the multiple eyes on the mother bulb. I think it had a long dormancy because it went for 14 months without one at all. I sent it into dormancy by withholding water.
