Romain lettuce & Cilantro

Portage, WI(Zone 5a)

I have lots of light and some spare room. These 2 will be the next new things I will try to grow indoors. Anyone with experience doing this? Besides light, I think biggest issues will be enough room, water and fertliz. Just now searching for seed. Did not reaize there were so many varieties of Romaine. I suppose a plain green will be easiest. Ran across "Little Gem", sounds interesting.

Light is good, but to successfully grow lettuce indoors it needs cool temperature. Are you meaning to start seed to transplant outdoors? Lots of Romaine types to choose from, and all are great!

Yes, way too many choices. when it comes to lettuce. I just moved my starter plants into the breezway wheer it stays at about 60F all day long. I'll let you know if it works out.
