Thanks, everyone!! Now I have a name to it, and I declar war on wire grass!! Know thy enemy! This stuff crept up on me because it's so sparse until gets going. You don't realize an ambush is about to happen. When the weather gets hot, I sort of ignored the bed where it "lived" until I came out one late afternoon to assess the stock, and what's this?? THIS YEAR, it wil not get past its shadow!!
