Thank you. It's quite lovely.
Chartreuse huechera? Anyone know of one?
Springcolor, you may be having a hard time with Citronelle because of the amount of rainfall you receive out there. The database indicates that it is drought tolerant, and suitable for xeriscaping (and I do find mine never complains about heat/drought as some of my other plants do).
Good to now. Do you know what others are in that same family?
thanks for the great pics! So many choices!
Didn't know about the 'drought tolerant' aspect of theCitronelle, but that's a big plus for me! I'm so sick of watering this month! t.
My Citronelles are maintenance free no matter what the weather. And evergreen year round. Not enough good things to say about it. It is very eye-catching in the shade. Plant blue hostas with it. When the hostas disappear in the fall you still have a nice landscape.
I agree. Nothing phases mine. It's one of the easiest plants I have.
Thanks, kildawabbit for the planting tip. Am always looking for good combinations! t.
So many bright ones! I cannot find them around here. I have Key Lime Pie and like it but lost my Stoplight. If anyone has extra to trade later please send me a dmail
