Here is another Eagle Cam that we watch rather faithfully. Derek and Savannah are the mating pair and they have an interesting history. I find it fascinating that the nest is so close to the ground. There are several injured eagles in the enclosure. This morning I counted 4 but there may be more.

How wonderful is that? Locallly we've a nest with 2 visible Eaglets. I can't hardly wait until I am able to obtain some pics. to share.

PERTH, Australia

Wow. That seems quick. I was looking at it last night and there appeared to be a freshly killed and partially eaten bird in the nest.

Ooooh NOOOOOO! From which location Margaret?

PERTH, Australia

From Blackwater, Kim. There's no was I could tell what sort of bird it was, unless it was actually a fish, which I don't think it was. (That makes sense, doesn't it?)

Whiteside County, IL(Zone 5a)

I still think it's tooooooo cold for those babies!

First Eaglet was born around 11am. I knew it was close. When I was watching early, Mom kept turning her head and it seemed to be listening to something.
