Port Norris, NJ(Zone 7b)

Denise,
I am ready to send seeds to Jennifer. Is there anything in particular you
are looking for? I'm hoping to mail by Thursday so please let me know.

Cris

Bordentown, NJ(Zone 7a)

Chris316:

Thank you for the offer. I looked at your "have" list and would be interested in the creeping snapdragon and canterbury bells.

Where is Port Norris?

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Jennifer, I like seed swaps, but I noticed that you just joined DG last month and your subscription runs out in April. It's really unusual for someone so new to DG to host a seed swap, much less two at the same time. I've been way too busy lately and missed where you introduced yourself.

Hello,

I have not got around to paying for a year yet. I have done seed swap in other groups. So I am not new at doing seed swaps. I am a stay at home mom of 3 son-6 and two daughters 4 and 22 months old. I love gardening and so do my kids.

Jennifer

Port Norris, NJ(Zone 7b)

Denise,
I'll get your requests out to you. Port Norris is off of Rt 47
on the road to Cape May.

Cris

Vashon, WA(Zone 8a)

Hi I would like to participate in the swap also. I didn't see a "piggy swap" this year, and I've been saving seeds like mad. I'm at work today but should be able to get the list of haves posted tomorrow.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Piggies swap was done on a different site.

I was gonna send out today but the snow and slick streets are telling me to stay home. The PO is only a mile from my house but it's all up and down steep hills and curves. Plus we are always the last in the area to get plowed. So will try tomorrow or Saturday.

Oakland, MD

Robynznest- that is fine I understand. I have packaged picked up so it is very easy for me.

colchie- Thanks for joining. You will find that you will get lost more seeds then what you seed in.

Jennifer

Port Norris, NJ(Zone 7b)

My envelope went out today with 52 packages up for grabs and individual
packages for Jax, Rick, Nisi, Maccionoadha, Jennifer and C-Ville.

Sent out: Astilbe, Stokes Aster, White Wood Aster, Avens (aka Geum)
Anchusa, Cupids Dart, Celosia, Butter Daisy, Edelweiss, Flax, Flowering Tobacco,
Forget-me-not, 4 O'Clocks, Lablab (aka white hyacinth bean), Love-in-a-mist,
Passion Flower Vine, Moss Rose (aka portulaca), Salvia, Zinnia.
Veggies: Cantaloupe, Brussel Sprouts, Castor Beans, and Burpee Big Boy
Tomatos. If you'd like to know specific cultivars or colors please ask.

What I'm interested in this year are seeds for my window boxes.
Thanks,
Cris

I can finally get out, soI will go to PO in the morning and will send of all the seeds.

Everett, WA(Zone 8a)

Unnh-oh, I better get a move on and find and send my seeds! I havent been able to get the Alyssum I had such hopes for separated, the non-viable seeds are 90% of what I can seive.

Time to try "puffing the chad away"!

Corey

Port Norris, NJ(Zone 7b)

Jennifer ,
Figured it wouldn't take long to get to you, I'm in southern NJ.
I'm interested in the Chinese Houses you have listed.

Corey, don't drive yourself nuts with the chaff - been there & done
that routine.

Cris

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Don't worry about the chaff, they still plant as good as if they were clean, I know I have a few that is very hard to clean.

Everett, WA(Zone 8a)

My first plan was to save the most "chaffy" parts for myself, and just pour that mess where I wat a few seeds to go.

But even the most "seedy" fractions have few seeds!

Seed seives only go so far when the seeds and chaff are in the same size range!

>> Don't worry about the chaff,

Thanks, I need to get going with WS and indoor germinating ASAP, and I have a bunch of trades waiting to go out.

Corey

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

I only have a few more to w/s and that's done. I won't start indoors for at least another month. So I've spent most of the day re-potting and potting up new pups of different plants.

Oakland, MD
