I have some here that I grew from seed its dark when small shoots as it gets bigger color goes away

you have the candy cane bamboo? mine isnt old enough to have the coloured canes stay. Yes when the plants young they come up coloured and lose the colour as the shoots age. But when full grown the colour should stay??

Sorry can't answer that I bought seed from ebay then I find out they don't come true from seed
