These are from Robert Griesbach. I got them from Faraway. Also, I wrote to R. Griesbach and was very surprise that he answered my letter. He sent me some Mix Orienpet Tetra seeds. I planted them and so far got real good germination.

ange, I have just really started growing them, so can't help you. I do have some yellow baby asiatic lilies that have performed well. So does Casa Blanca.

Thanks Jo Ann. This was the first year it bloomed for me. I was pleasantly surprised. What are we doing up so early?!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I always wake up at this time.
Just transplanted 4 Oriental poppies while it's cool and before the steam set s in.
We have clay soil so I wanted to be able to dig while the soil is wet from the rain last night.
I'm in for a rest, then out to clean up the debree

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

angedawn, I'd recommend starting with LA hybrids, OT hybrids, and LO hybrids. Some members in zone 9 Texas are doing well with those groups.

dleforts, your Maywood has a different bloom shape than mine and others I've seen in pics, could it be either Time Zone, or one of the Japanese hybrids from Faraway?

Love the Robert Greisbach collection- all are wonderful!

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

Gemini-sage. Thanks will check it out. I have a new puppy (which I love) & she has fallen in love with plant tags and chews them or moves them. I appreciate the help. I'm just learning how to tell them apart. Leftwood has been a great help too. I do have both lilies Maywood & Time Zone. The Japanese hybrids I've purchased are in a special place. I still might get them wrong but. I know exactly where they are.

Newfield, NY

i hear yeah there.i had my tage pull up from my grandson.now i can put them my have list. ggggrrrr

Agawam, MA(Zone 6a)

gemini-sage, Thanks - corrected the O/T from Maywood to Time Zone.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Neil, didn't know who robert greisbach was, so went looking. I found this interesting blog. read about all the honorees, and in particular re: books. The last book is very appealing to me.

is that the R. Greisbach u were talking about?

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

There currently aren't any Greisbach lilies listed here, but has everyone seen this site? I find it quite informative. And you can search lilies by hybridizer. There is a ton of info on this site.

And here's some info from Faraway Flowers blog on Greisbach. (Faraway Flowers is our Maniac, in case anyone doesn't know her.)

Just beautiful, Jo! I like how you put the little frames around the pics, too.

You would never horn in, those pics are gorgeous!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I cant take any credit for the collages.I only choose the pictures and the collage button does the rest. It chooses which image to make big etc.
I choose the frame color by dragging the "dropper" tool across the image until there is a color I like and thats it.I also choose the width of the framebut no more tha that.

Garner, NC(Zone 7b)

Glad you got something done Jo Ann...I went back to bed;) Which program do you use with the collage function? I have only recently started to take and post pictures...thanks to tutorials from my dd. Still learning new tricks.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have Picasa free from Google. It takes a bit of patience as does all computer stuff, but Picasa is an easy to use photo editing program. It contains a collage featuer as well as an album feature. Its so much easier to post many images using these rather than posting every picture.
