What are your Favorite Doubles?

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Oh Joy, you have some beauties! I love All in All especially. I love pinks. Wow!!

Here's a sweet little thing called Bubbly. The blooms are only about 2-3 inches, but there are so many of them!

Oh, Bubbly is so cute. And look at those buds!

DESDEMONA is one I've had for quite a few years. I got it in a trade and wasn't sure I'd really like it because I didn't think I liked the doubles at the time. But I grew it anyway. It didn't impress me much, but I had read that it can take a while to bloom as it should. So I waited. It took 3 years to really show it's stuff. But when it did, I was impressed! DESDEMONA is the double that helped to change my mind about doubles.Though not listed as a rebloomer, it reblooms for me, in fact it bloomed 3 different times last year.
Another interesting thing about DESDEMONA is it's color can be lighter or darker depending on the temperature. It doesn't wash out in the sun, but the bloom color can be different on cool days. Something we get a lot of here. I'll post pics of both.

Here's the lighter DESDEMONA. I can't remember now if cooler or warmer weather makes it lighter or darker? I'll have to keep notes on it this year sense my memory can't be counted on. :-)

Double Double "Cabbage Flower" bought last Fall bloomed the first time in mid-June.

I've been concentrating more on Spiders this year but am starting to change my mind about adding doubles after seeing so many different beautiful blooms. Keep them coming.
