Tex where did you get those Double Pleasure? I got Double Sensation this year and it's funky looking too. The darn thing is loaded with blooms and buds, stems are sturdy, and it's tall but the flowers are weird. I've avoided photographing it hoping it might get better as the season passes.

Mother nature really arranged these Invasion lilies perfectly. Three plants sprouted at the same time early spring but of different heights.

I put these pics in the wrong thread yesterday, so forgive me if you've seen them. Hiawatha bloomed for the first time. Came from Pacific Northwest Lily Society. It was Tracey's recommendation - both the society and the lily.

And here's the setting. It's actually between Ariadne and The Vamp. Why did I every think I wasn't interested in red lilies!!!!

And regale album. It was sent by mistake, and since I have regale I wouldn't have ordered it, but it looks great with cynoglossum. This is at the edge of my peony bed. I am growing candidums that will replace or augment these next year (which was what I ordered!!)

Voss, you're the best.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

ge, the 2nd one with the yellow flowers in the background really speaks to me. the yellow flowers are familiar but I can't think of the name.

Tiny Athlete is gorgeous too.

I see a lot of you grow the small lilies and I hadn't given them any thought. But your pics have changed my mind. Whatever I get this fall for next spring will be shorties.

Tex68, my RedDutch which I bought at WM last year and did wonderfully, have not come back. I'm bummed about that. Neither did the white stargazer. It is so darned hot here right now, I can't imagine that they will come out and play now.

do lilies ever skip a season?

Chicago, IL(Zone 5b)

Donna -- would you say Hiawatha is a cherry red? As opposed to a blood red? I want I want.

Your pink spotted one looks like Pink Giant and the next one could be Grand Cru. I think B & B sold both of those. Lovely lovely lovely. I love the white trumpets too.

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, thats it. PINK GIANT. I remember the name now. They do have name tags buried down there under the much but they are too hard to get too. Thanks!

Hiawatha is a gorgeous red. I do have 3 I planted this spring and currently have buds on them. Can't wait for them to bloom assuming I was sold the right variety.

Arcata, CA(Zone 9b)

Your Hiawatha is red, the one that I purchased came out to be Orange. Are there different colors?
