These wild turkeys visited me today. They were in a field behind my house. I guess the mother was taking the kids on a tour of the cornfield.

Every one is welcome at the porch just give me a holler when you git there we are trying to add new folks all the time .
I am a little busy building peeper a chicken coop condo for his new ladies that are due in a few weeks so I will be in and out throughout the days to come most of the folks are very friendly and will chat to you if you give them a chance it is a nice place to chat.

I am new to DG. Is there a way to change the settings so that the latest post appears at the top of the page rather than at the bottom? Just curious.

Cville...I think when I entered my zip code it choose my zone. I think you are in zone 6b. Hope this helps.

Flimsy, thanks for your input. I had thought it was 6b but am also thinking maybe I should go with 6b/7a. :-) I know this past winter it seldom dropped into the single digits here, if at all.

yea it took me a few days to figure it all out .
but its not that hard plantfiles was the hard part for me to get use to.
but i got it you will as well.
LOL Yeah, PlantFiles can be tricky ;o) Cville, the best part is that everyone here was a newbie at one time! Plus, we are all very helpful, if you have any questions....
Appreciate that very much. Gardening here is quite different than gardening in CA but after about a year, I'm starting to catch on a bit. ;-)

Cville you asked how to change your settings here's how.
you go to your member page and click on Manage your preferences look at the right side of the screen and you will see customize your home page and that is what your looking for.
