Maybe it was too damp Blossom? It likes it hot and dry.......similar to annual type vinca.
SUNFLOWERS for 2010#2 - WHOSE IN?
funny looking sunnies thar P
I know ...I OT'ed but it's amore's fault...LOL...gotta blame sumbody*G*
I know. It IS my fault, but who cares. As long as the primary focus is Sunflowers, it doesn't matter if we stray offtrack for a little while. I'd rather read a post and look at a picture compared to no post at all.
yup,too dang hot to be outside passed 10-11 am so we needs picture posts
Agreed. Inside for the day here. May sneak out again after 6PM when the temperature drops to 90.
I'm debating if I really wanna go out there and mow...forget the weeds. I've weeded these beds upmteen times and they're weedy again and can stay that dern way until colorer weather.
I've been slowly getting at the weeds the last few evenings. Can't get much accomplished in the 1-2 hours its semi-bearable in the evening. None of the beds are real bad, but there are enough weeds to keep the issue on my mind. I can't wait for October when it will cool off, the humidity will ease up and it will be the beginning of the winter gardening season.....the one I really like.
Raining here.
Jon, we-ins is jess gonna havta call you the Wanderer.
Nas sunny BTW!
OK Blossom. Everyone is a "wanderer" in the garden. Definition: a gardener easily distracted/set off course by something in the yard. A wanderer usually ends up doing something completely different than what was intended once they've been outside for a couple of minutes. Hehe
Snickers!
Well, we jess caint call you Bubba, goodness knows that wun s taken!
So? We're call him "Snickers"?
