Went on hike today on Borrego Trail. Pictures.

Just what I said. It rained a little up there. But not much more than a mist.

Nice to get out of town for a bit. Before long the Aspen will be turning!

Nothing in particular was going on. This old tree was still standing.

I went with a couple of friends.

Saw some butterflies.

Later, had lunch on the porch at Whole Foods and saw a bat on the wall!

It was a 3 mile loop trail I've been on many times. Pleasant.

Your butterfly is outstanding -- worthy of the DG photography contest coming up soon, I bet. The bat is cool too. Is the Borrego Trail up by the ski basin? -- sort of near the Windsor Trail?

Thank-you. Yes, it connects to the Winsor Trail and Bear Wallow Trail.

Oh, yes, I know that rail. I once saw two bears on it!
