twiggybuds, at Mericlone Labs her s/h is only $4.95. For me anyway that's pretty much as cheap as gas to drive into town. You can purchase from her 1 or 1000.

Blossombuddy, those will make potatoes but the flavor is kind of bland and the texture is dry and stringy.

Well, I would have had a nice sweet potato year if some critters had not tunneled under the plants and sampled nearly everyone from beneath. I live in Indiana and don't have gophers. Could it be voles? They did not disturb anything but the sweet potatoes.

You might try setting out mouse traps with peanut butter bait......not just on the usual spot, but smeared under and around it too.

to keep the rodents out.
