Here's a couple of the many shots of the Anna Hummingbird I got at Bosca Chica in San Diego back in the winter. My first pictures ever of a Hummingbird. He was constantly flying to this one branch and allowed me to get very close; I only had my 70-200mm lens with me on this trip.

Great job Meth. These little guys are sure colorful and fun to photograph.


We counted at least 30 hummers yesterday. That was a 6 quart day for sugar water and it will be that much and more through fall. I love them! When you don't have kids, these little guys will gladly take their place.

Cute little hummer there dirt! Looks like it's all bundled up for the cold weather. Glad you're getting some rain, we've haven't had any for about as long and the wildfires are really causing problems already.
