Color Explosions

Ennis, MT(Zone 4a)

I will see how far I get posting poppies. I got a little carried away picking photos from the few hundred I have shot in the past couple of days. Is there a limit on how many I can post tonight? Probably will find out.

I have about 1200 square feet looking like this at the moment. ^_^

Here are two shots of the same view. The first is early with heavy dull overcast. The next will be after the sun broke through the clouds.

This is why I like that slanting early morning light...

If you are tired, get a refreshing beverage and come back, I am not done yet, ha!

And by the look of these buds, neither are my poppies.

Gorgeous, Mulch, thank you. Poppies are fabulous and you have inspired me!

I was thrilled when I discovered the wildflower mix I wintersowed had so many poppies in it, they are scrumptious and the Stars of my garden for sure.

I love it! Amazing poppies and very good photographs. You know how to get the most out of them; there on the poppy asteroid! I like that you have a variety of poppies going there. I think the elderly poppies and the pods have a dance of their own, they move around. Tai Chi on the poppy asteroid!

Albuquerque, NM(Zone 7b)

Nice mulch. Do you have a side business? Perhaps it would explain the flight phenomenon.

Dolores, CO(Zone 5b)

Very beautiful poppies! All of the pics are just lovely! And the older I get, the more I appreciate "the elderly" in most everything!

Gastonia, NC(Zone 7b)

LOL! I hear that, Brenda.

Santa Fe, NM

Good point, Brenda!
