2009 LILY BLOOMS #6

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

My gosh, hard to believe we are on #6 already...so many more to go yet!!

African Queen opened today!! She only has 3 flowers on her...but I did move her last fall so that may have set her back. She is one of my favorites!

We came from here... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1004213/

I wasn't sure about this one but it is growing on me! I got confused between this one & Centerfold which is the one I had really meant to get. Well maybe next year....

I just got it this year and taged it. But, as I've learned from this forum you never know. It was from Springhill, once again you never know for sure.

Gorgeous lilies everyone!!! Mine are just starting, but I missed the openings because we've had rain for almost a straight week.

Here's PF Salmon from Buggy, I think, in its first year here.

Here's a terrible pic of something I had to bring home from Home Depot today - Tiny Sensation

Loretto's been a bit too weathered and raindrenched to make you all look at. That's about it for now.

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

Welcome Debbie and hi Perennial! Nice to see you here.

Thanks Donna. I actually lurk and ogle here a fair amount, always adding the gorgeous lilies I see to my want list! Too bad I don't have too much room left in the sun, if any, but I don't let that stop me.

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

I may just have to find me a Tiny Sensation...so cute! It could be with Polkadot Bikini here!

Jamaica Plain, MA(Zone 6a)

It's not really so tiny, nanny. Just a bit on the short side. I added Polkadot Bikini to my want list as soon as I saw it here.

I had Bright Pixie open up today..
The flower is almost as big as her...

I'm experimenting with these this year...I moved them to a part shade bed this spring...
So we'll really see how they do next year...
The bulbs morphed..so there's like 2-4 stalks coming out of each huge bulb...
Don't know if they'll separate this fall or not..

Hi Phyllis! I've been meaning to send you a hello.

Hi Sharon...Good to see you...
I have a Trumpet Lily getting ready to bloom before most of my Asiatic's
this weather is making them go nuts...

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Nanny,

I just love your "African Queen" lily - that is a great one isn't it? And jmorth, wonderful lily "vistas" LOL. My vistas are about finished. It has been 90-100+ for about two straight weeks now which is hot even for us. I have a few lilies blooming yet and am surprised they look as good as they do.

BYW Tracey, your "Wendy's Choice" and "Burnished Rose" are wonderful (on the other thread)

Here is "Rococo", one of my favorite yellow OT's.

She is a beauty...just has a glow about her...I love them all but I love her best!

Polkadot Bikini is a bit short too so would make a good pairing with Tiny Sensation!

Ahh...so many beauties today
