I called this tiny floaty creature a Fairy Fly for years until I learned that it was a Woolly Aphid. Since I always find them floating through the air like a feather, I'm not sure of the exact species

Another Woolly Aphid a bit closer. Notice the mouth part touching my finger. I usually see them flying in July but none seen in 2005.
