LemonCitrusTree wanted a review on Google or Facebook before the tree has actually had a chance to grow, so I'll post it here and on Google.
1) I'm not sure if Lemon Citrus Tree actually grows their own stock or buys and transships it, as there was a tag in the box from a different grower.
2) The box was very well-secured against the vagaries of shipping and heavy cardboard reinforced the corners of the box to prevent it from being bent.
3) The tree, itself, was smaller than I would have expected for its stated age but appeared healthy when I took it out of the box and it had only one, very minor, limb dead, probably before it was even shipped. The tree has been in the ground for about two weeks and seems to be tolerating the transplant well.

Other than these observations of fact, ask me next summer whether or not this was a good purchase.

Wow! I was apprehensive to ship these from the deep southeast to WA, but, they are so gorgeous! I kid you not, I paid more for older trees and these babies are huge and gorgeous and healthy. I'm helping them transition now, and if they fail, it will only be because of my actions. They are packaged very well. Outstanding! I'm very impressed.

When I was a child, my grandmother took me to the Botanical Gardens in Washington, DC. It was winter and the outside air was freezing, but inside, it was warm, humid and there was the most extraordinary perfumed floral scent in the air. The scent smelled like heaven. It was the orange trees in full bloom! The scent of those blossoms was indescribably wonderful and all my life, I have wanted to have again, that exquisite experience of inhaling the heady, beautiful scent of orange blossoms. I've purchased orange blossom scented candles. My husband even bought me expensive orange blossom cologne as worn by members of the royal family. No luck in matching that childhood memory. I had researched buying orange trees, but established trees were too expensive to order. Horrific shipping costs! Then one day, I see a link on Amazon for ORANGE TREES. Lol! There's a sucker born every day, I ordered this particular tree. Shipping was inexpensive compared to other companies.

It arrived today. It was heavily wrapped, sturdily boxed and labeled with "fragile" packaging labels. The tree was huge! Bigger than I had anticipated. Heavily leafed out. Strong, sturdy trunk. Healthy. Potted in a large pot full of soil and placed in a bag that was twist tied closed to keep soil and moisture in pot. Loaded with small oranges. Box contained certificates about the tree and precise, perfect instructions for growing the tree. This tree was in the delivery system for 10 days, but it was packed so carefully, it looked like I could have purchased it from a nursery today. Also, I am an experienced gardener, but the instructions could be easily understood by a beginner. I am pleased with the quality of this tree and how it was packaged for delivery.

But, what made the experience perfect was the tree was covered with ORANGE BLOSSOMS and when I opened the box, little branches held blossoms, which had bloomed on the way to Virginia, popped out of the box and my sunny great room was filled with the long-remembered scent of orange blossoms!!! It seemed like life stood still for a moment and I was transported back to the Botanical Gardens. Walking hand-in-hand with my amazing grandmother among gigantic trees, flowering tropicals, cacti and finally entering into the room where the orange trees bloomed in the dead of winter.

Thanks so much for taking the care to package this tree so well that it bloomed in a dark box and provided me with such happiness when I opened the box and the exquisite scent of orange blossoms appeared!

I am happy to say my tree arrived well before the the expected delivery date, and the tree looks healthy. It is full of lush leaves and hopefully, it will produce great tasting fruit next year. This is my second time to order the fig tree from Lemon Citrus Tree. The first tree I ordered last year grows very well. They responded to my emails in a timely manner. I'm very satisfied with their service.

I was worried about buying plants via the internet. The tree arrived in great condition with three to four small limbs from the main trunk. After I repotted the tree into a larger container and fertilized with citrus fertilizer, it sprouted like crazy. After about a month, the canopy was about three feet across. It's been 5 months now and since I live on the East coast. I have it in front of two large windows and the tree continues to do great with constant new sprouts. As of now, I've owned the trees for about 5 months and about a month ago, noticed my first bloom. I had to self pollenate the tree since it's indoors and no bees to do it naturally. I use a small q-tip to rub the small flowers and spread the pollen. Tree comes with directions on how to do this. I have called the support line to get questions answered and everyone I have spoke to is very knowledgable and nice. I highly recommend this company.

I got my mom a meyer lemon tree for mother's day and it's really beautiful. She couldn't be happier over it. They even took the time to talk my mom through how to care for the tree over the phone. They have really nice staff that are so helpful. I really couldn't be happier over my purchase.

My mom sent my husband and me one of their 4-5 Year Old lemon trees as a Christmas gift. In the process we interacted with Nancy and she was fantastically helpful, courteous, and kind, responding to our queries within hours. Our tree is already showing fruit and we're ecstatic to have this gift that we'll treasure for many years to come. The trees come with paperwork with helpful suggestions for care but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Nancy. She really showed how much this small company cares about its customers and its product. I'd recommend having an appropriate-sized pot (I got a 16") and some citrus mix soil as well as a moisture meter ready for its arrival (especially the moisture meter--they're cheap and help take the guesswork out of watering it since the roots can be so sensitive to over-watering). Great company to work with ... Very Happy.

Our tree arrived in New Hampshire the day after Thanksgiving. The packaging was outstanding and the tree was in perfect shape. The warmers in the box were still warm. The day before Thanksgiving we had ten inches of snow and it was very cold. My worrying was not warranted. The tree is very beautiful & I am really impressed!
