LemonCitrusTree wanted a review on Google or Facebook before the tree has actually had a chance to grow, so I'll post it here and on Google. 1) I'm not sure if Lemon Citrus Tree actually grows their own stock or buys and transships it, as there was a tag in the box from a different grower. 2) The box was very well-secured against the vagaries of shipping and heavy cardboard reinforced the corners of the box to prevent it from being bent. 3) The tree, itself, was smaller than I would have expected for its stated age but appeared healthy when I took it out of the box and it had only one, very minor, limb dead, probably before it was even shipped. The tree has been in the ground for about two weeks and seems to be tolerating the transplant well. Other than these observations of fact, ask me next summer whether or not this was a good purchase.

I am conflicted about writing this because the reviews and pictures on Amazon, Etsy, Google, etc., look great (lemoncitrustree.com does business with many partners and is social media savvy). My purchase was terrible. The 4-5 year improved meyer lemon tree arrived with active crawling spider mites, leaf miners, and black spots on more than half the leaves on the tree. I reached out to customer support and was told, "no possible way the tree would ship with a pest as USDA makes us grow in seclusion and regularly inspects." But that I should send photos of whole tree including growers pot. After which, the response was, "The farm pulled the trees out of the greenhouses and they may have been in an area for a few days before they were packaged," and a partial refund was sent. I didn't need or want the refund, I'd like any new plant to not risk the health of my other house plants. During pandemic lockdown life I've collected 12 indoor plants, all from online companies shipped directly to my house. All but this plant have arrived in perfect pristine condition from all over the country. This was the only fail. Maybe LemonCitrusTree has other better plants, but if you want an indoor potted meyer lemon tree, go with Four Winds Growers or Fast Growing Trees.

It would have been cheaper if I went to the local Home Depot store but I thought the trees on their web looked great. What I got was a stick with warmers and a couple of branches. They chopped them off before sending them. Why did I pay for a 4-5 foot tree then?

Definitely knocked it out the park with this one back to back the 2nd tree being more amazing than the first tree! I think I've become more than obsessed with the phenomenon of nature. I'm so in love with this tree. Learning a lot of patience with this journey and Lemon Citrus Tree definitely has helped me a lot along this road with my original twig in trying to bring it to life and the tree I bought from them. Hands down the best customer service and a lot of knowledge in what they do. Thanks again.

I really wanted a Meyer Lemon Tree but I was skeptical about ordering a plant through the mail. I have one other time (from another company) and received a plant that was terrible at best. This time I am very pleased! I received a healthy plant, with soil in a pot, and a straight trunk. This is not just a tree with the top chopped off and stuffed into a box. The tree is green, has a couple of baby lemons & developing buds, and growing lots of new leaves. Pros: Straight Trunk Not Just a Small Cutting Well Packaged, Mine Shipped With a Pot Healthy Leaves Good Root System Fair Price for This Size Tree w/ Warranty is a great deal. - No Cons, I am very Pleased and Will Order From This Seller Again Bottom Line… I would recommend to a friend. Lemon Citrus Tree has been amazing, I didn’t think customer service like this existed anymore… they’ve helped me with all of my questions and it’s been a big help. With the tree itself...it did not lose a single leaf in transit and still had moist soil when it arrived. Super excited to watch it grow! I am going to use it is a container plant as I live in Zone 8, and bring it in during the winter. Highly Recommend!

I love my tree!! I received my tree about six months ago and shortly after it blossomed. It's a very healthy tree and I am impressed by the quality. I've needed guidance on the care and the customer service from this company is incredible and I highly recommend them to anyone starting out (as I am) with citrus trees.

My first purchase from Lemon Citrus tree was good. My clementine tree arrived as expected and I did not need to seek customer service. I was concerned about transportation shock and wondered how a live tree would be packaged and shipped. However it came to my doorstep unscathed and it made for a perfect living room decoration. I would buy from them again in the future.

Wow! I was apprehensive to ship these from the deep southeast to WA, but, they are so gorgeous! I kid you not, I paid more for older trees and these babies are huge and gorgeous and healthy. I'm helping them transition now, and if they fail, it will only be because of my actions. They are packaged very well. Outstanding! I'm very impressed.

When I was a child, my grandmother took me to the Botanical Gardens in Washington, DC. It was winter and the outside air was freezing, but inside, it was warm, humid and there was the most extraordinary perfumed floral scent in the air. The scent smelled like heaven. It was the orange trees in full bloom! The scent of those blossoms was indescribably wonderful and all my life, I have wanted to have again, that exquisite experience of inhaling the heady, beautiful scent of orange blossoms. I've purchased orange blossom scented candles. My husband even bought me expensive orange blossom cologne as worn by members of the royal family. No luck in matching that childhood memory. I had researched buying orange trees, but established trees were too expensive to order. Horrific shipping costs! Then one day, I see a link on Amazon for ORANGE TREES. Lol! There's a sucker born every day, I ordered this particular tree. Shipping was inexpensive compared to other companies. It arrived today. It was heavily wrapped, sturdily boxed and labeled with "fragile" packaging labels. The tree was huge! Bigger than I had anticipated. Heavily leafed out. Strong, sturdy trunk. Healthy. Potted in a large pot full of soil and placed in a bag that was twist tied closed to keep soil and moisture in pot. Loaded with small oranges. Box contained certificates about the tree and precise, perfect instructions for growing the tree. This tree was in the delivery system for 10 days, but it was packed so carefully, it looked like I could have purchased it from a nursery today. Also, I am an experienced gardener, but the instructions could be easily understood by a beginner. I am pleased with the quality of this tree and how it was packaged for delivery. But, what made the experience perfect was the tree was covered with ORANGE BLOSSOMS and when I opened the box, little branches held blossoms, which had bloomed on the way to Virginia, popped out of the box and my sunny great room was filled with the long-remembered scent of orange blossoms!!! It seemed like life stood still for a moment and I was transported back to the Botanical Gardens. Walking hand-in-hand with my amazing grandmother among gigantic trees, flowering tropicals, cacti and finally entering into the room where the orange trees bloomed in the dead of winter. Thanks so much for taking the care to package this tree so well that it bloomed in a dark box and provided me with such happiness when I opened the box and the exquisite scent of orange blossoms appeared!

I am happy to say my tree arrived well before the the expected delivery date, and the tree looks healthy. It is full of lush leaves and hopefully, it will produce great tasting fruit next year. This is my second time to order the fig tree from Lemon Citrus Tree. The first tree I ordered last year grows very well. They responded to my emails in a timely manner. I'm very satisfied with their service.

I was worried about buying plants via the internet. The tree arrived in great condition with three to four small limbs from the main trunk. After I repotted the tree into a larger container and fertilized with citrus fertilizer, it sprouted like crazy. After about a month, the canopy was about three feet across. It's been 5 months now and since I live on the East coast. I have it in front of two large windows and the tree continues to do great with constant new sprouts. As of now, I've owned the trees for about 5 months and about a month ago, noticed my first bloom. I had to self pollenate the tree since it's indoors and no bees to do it naturally. I use a small q-tip to rub the small flowers and spread the pollen. Tree comes with directions on how to do this. I have called the support line to get questions answered and everyone I have spoke to is very knowledgable and nice. I highly recommend this company.

I got my mom a meyer lemon tree for mother's day and it's really beautiful. She couldn't be happier over it. They even took the time to talk my mom through how to care for the tree over the phone. They have really nice staff that are so helpful. I really couldn't be happier over my purchase.

I was sooo worried that I was going to get a stick with a few leaves on it! But I've been so pleasantly surprised by the tree I received from Lemoncitrustree! The tree is so beautiful and larger than I thought it would be!!! I'm also finding a wealth of information on their website, they really seem to cover everything possible! I love their video tutorials too... they're really good. I've been really shocked by this experience, did not expect this to work out so well. These guys know their stuff! If you need a citrus tree, you want to order from here, they are the experts!

My mom sent my husband and me one of their 4-5 Year Old lemon trees as a Christmas gift. In the process we interacted with Nancy and she was fantastically helpful, courteous, and kind, responding to our queries within hours. Our tree is already showing fruit and we're ecstatic to have this gift that we'll treasure for many years to come. The trees come with paperwork with helpful suggestions for care but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Nancy. She really showed how much this small company cares about its customers and its product. I'd recommend having an appropriate-sized pot (I got a 16") and some citrus mix soil as well as a moisture meter ready for its arrival (especially the moisture meter--they're cheap and help take the guesswork out of watering it since the roots can be so sensitive to over-watering). Great company to work with ... Very Happy.

Our tree arrived in New Hampshire the day after Thanksgiving. The packaging was outstanding and the tree was in perfect shape. The warmers in the box were still warm. The day before Thanksgiving we had ten inches of snow and it was very cold. My worrying was not warranted. The tree is very beautiful & I am really impressed!

I ordered a Meyer Lemon Tree as a Father's Day present for my husband. It arrived with four good-sized, green lemons. One lemon broke off during a careless lawn mowing. I now have three large yellow lemons. We had a problem with spider mites after we brought it inside, but when I called customer service, they suggested the solution and now my tree is healthy again. Everyone comments on our beautiful tree - it is now five feet tall in its container. My husband enjoys pollinating the fragrant blooms, which have produced an abundance of baby lemons. We couldn't be more pleased.

I love this company!!! I was really worried about ordering trees online, so I called the company and was reassured that they actually sell real trees with foliage, and not just sticks in a package. The customer service is phenomenal, because the person was helpful with some other issues I have with insects on certain plants. I ordered and got 3 trees and the Meyer lemon had one piece of fruit already. UPS was an issue, they had tipped one of the boxes upside down and one of my branches was broken, but not too bad. I didn't call the company on this issue as they had packaged the tree well , and the damage was minor. The trees were healthy and full of foliage and I am extremely pleased and will order again in the future.

I wanted to add some unique house plants to my home and did some research and decided on citrus. I had purchased from four winds in the past but wasn't happy with the trees. In a last ditch effort I tried lemon citrus tree because they have a three year warranty on all their purchases. I thought that was my safest bet, so I went with them. The transaction was smooth and the trees were really nice, bushy and had some fruit on them when they arrived. There was a slight problem with one of the trees, UPS had man handled the box... the company was really quick to handle the issue and they sent me a replacement out right away, I was really impressed by their support.

Excellent and very healthy Meyer Lemon Tree, Very Happy with Purchase. Customer service was extremely nice and helpful and I appreciated the growing guide. Tree was larger than advertised and they did a nice job packing (even had dozens of little baby lemons when it arrived although still green at this point)

This companies website is professionally compiled and their telephone service was friendly. As long as you are placing an order with this company and giving them your business/money, you will receive exceptional customer service. However, if you are dissatisfied with their product, you will NOT receive good service, if any. I purchased three citrus trees with this online company, in hopes that I would receive a product superior, if not equal to, my local franchise store(s). My hopes were quickly squashed, once I received my trees via UPS; the two smaller "trees" were barely the circumference of a pencil, with minimal branches/leaves, and my larger tree had been CHOPPED off across the top to "get it to fit into the shipping box" according to the company's phone support. I was completely dissatisfied with the products I received, so I requested an exchange for better quality trees, at my expense. The company refused to do an exchange, stating that they would only refund me the difference, if I could provide proof that a local store is able to provide a comparable product at a cheaper rate; I provided EXTENSIVE PROOF that the local Home Depot's 4.5 tree was $50 CHEAPER than their 4.5 ft tree (and would not have paid for shipping - another $40 with this company), but because the Home Depot's return policy differed from this company's, they refused ANY and ALL RESOLUTION. I filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau against this company, but because LemonCitrusTree.com refused to reply to the BBB's request for information, they were forced to close the case WITHOUT RESOLUTION. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY'S FALSE CLAIMS - their website claims to have great prices and products without sacrificing quality, but their prices and quality do not compete with local retailers (and you pay a lot for shipping). Also, the website claims that ALL PLANTS come with complete care instructions, but I did not receive one set of instructions in all three of my boxes; I have requested the instructions on two occasions, and have yet to receive them. Again, once this company receives your money, you are ON YOUR OWN.
