This should be a sign to everyone of their dishonesty and lack of ethics, and a warning not to trust them. The lush, full $10 plant they advertise will most likely arrive at your house as a 2" twig with few leaves. And from reading other comments, it appears they NEVER replace any plants. That would require them to pay for more shipping and waste masking tape and styrofoam peanuts. Some people are clueless. You make more money by selling quality products and treating customers fairly because those customers will continue to come back. |

Once again I tried contacting Hirt's to ask them why I was sent a partial order of hibiscus when they are still selling sets of 25 on ebay and to discuss why I was charged the full price for shipping when I was sent a partial order but guess what....THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR DAMN PHONE!! I would never ever consider buying another item from this company. I have purchased many items from online nurseries and dealing with Hirts Gardens has been the worst experience I have ever had and I would never buy from them again |

This worthless tape was applied in a sloppy manner -- kind of just stuck here and there along the edges. Why Hirt's bothered to use masking tape is baffling; it served no purpose whatsoever. It was obvious to me that these plants had not been watered prior to shipping and care had not been taken to ensure that they would not be dried out upon receipt of the order. I have no intention of ever ordering another thing from this substandard nursery. |

After inquiring about the pepper plants, they've assured me that they will ship them today. I ordered 4 pepper plants someplace else, just in case the ones from Hirts arrive dead like the tomato. Don't plan to purchase from them again in the future. There are too many other providers who at least make an effort to fill orders properly and pack well for shipping. |

I ordered several tomato plants from Hirt's and selected a delivery date of May 1, so that I was able to plant them when it was time. March 2, I had a box arrive to me with the plants in them, 2 MONTHS early. I was offered a refund, but only if I PAID FOR SHIPPING the plants back to them. Not my fault, should not be at my expense. Did not respond to my emails, POOR Customer Service!!! Like I said there are so many other Honest and reliable companies to work with, why choose one that is about 50/50 with good and bad feedback? Is your garden and time worth a 50/50 shot? Mine isn't. Shop elsewhere. |
