Have had a great experience with K and M Rose Nursery this year. They were all cordial when I contacted them and their roses I ordered were actually packed well compared to other companies I have used. They have no control how the carrier they send them with will treat them but even so, these roses were in great shape. They have done fantastic and growing well here in Florida which is a challenge all the year long. These roses took off quicker then any I have purchased from other local growers. They also appear to be more resistant to black spot and better at handling thrips. Recommend them.

I have ordered twice from Mr. Mills. Nice fortuniana roses each time well packed. Very quick to respond to emails. Highly recommended.

With the help of others on this site I FINALLY tracked down the First Kiss roses I was long searching for. All four of the bushes I ordered arrived in record time. Each was full of buds and blooms. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Their website gives complete instructions on planting and care. I have already recommended the site to others!

Mr. Mills is one of the few growers who still offers potted plants on Fortuniana rootstock. He has a wonderful selection (much larger than just the ones listed on 'HelpMeFind') and sends healthy, large plants. He is quite popular among the southern rose clubs for group sales and he and wife often bring their plants to shows. Mr. Mills was selected as the grower to provide literally hundreds of plants to establish the Ollie Steele Burden rose garden here in Baton Rouge... and that's quite a recommendation by itself. Unfortunately, his order process is quite antiquated and it can be difficult to determine what's availabe at the time you want it. In this day of online payments, it's also a bit annoying to snail mail the payment and then wait for the plants. However, once you receive his lovely plants, you will be glad you went through all the trouble to complete the order! A+++ Ev =)
