Comments regarding Classy Groundcovers

This is my first experience with Classy Groundcovers, and I am very impressed. I ordered variegated liriope in 3 1/2" pots. The plants were larger than I thought they would be, appeared to be very healthy, and were very well-packed. I will definitely order from them again.

First time ordering from Classy Groundcovers. Wasn't sure what to expect, and was a little nervous to spend almost $400 for 4 flats of plants.

SO glad I went with CG! They weren't the cheapest online nursery, but after reading reviews about "sticks" and "rootballs" from other growers, and all the positive "full plant" reviews from CG, it was definitely worth the money. CG was still cheaper than any local nursery or Big Box hardware store around here.

All of my plants (3 varities) were in 3" pots, with well developed roots, healthy leaves & stems, & packaged very securely. There were even 2 extra plants stuck in!

Delivery was quick & I knew exactly when they would arrive by the tracking information provided.

The plants took less than a week to arrive, and have been in the ground for 3 weeks now. They are thriving and I couldn't be happier.

A box arrived today with a complimentary hat & spade. Nice surprise!

I will definitely return to CG for my plant orders. Reasonable prices, very healthy plants, free shipping, & a guarantee. Can't beat that.

Also, if you Google "Classy Groundcovers Coupon Code" you can find the current discount codes to apply to your order. I saved about $70 on my order using a code!

We ordered 1000 vinca minor plants after seeing that this was a watchdog top 30 company on Dave's Garden. We were looking to fill in a part shade area with an alternative to grass. The price was very reasonable. They notified us when they would be shipped and they arrived the next day in excellent condition with adequate moisture. We just planted them last weekend so don't know the long term result, but so far they all look good! Would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for good quality groundcovers.

The plants were not available when I first tried to order them but the company notified me when they were. They shipped the plants and they arrived in excellent condition. I can't wait until they fill in the desolate bank we look at every day!

I am very much impressed. The Web site was well laid out and easy to use, the ordering experience was painless, and the plants are excellent. Well grown, healthy looking plants, packed into a sturdy box with simple but effective newspaper as packaging. This company is quick, too. To top it off, they had multiple options for payment, including payment by mail after placing the order. (unusual, in my experience for an "Internet orders only" company, but very welcome.) If I ever need to fill a large space with groundcovers again, I know where I'll be going...

Best mail order experience of my life. I ordered on Tuesday and received my package on Friday (free shipping). The bare root plants were in moist packing ... absolutely no wilting or yellowed leaves. The plants have healthy thick roots. They are even larger clumps than the pictures on the web-site. I am very impressed and recommend them for your next ground cover order. Great experience all around.

Speed, speed, speed! High recommendation.

My trumpet vines and 100 daylilies arrived in three days--Georgia to Connecticut! I planted them all immediately.

All the daylilies looked green and lively. All have taken root in poor soil and partial shade.

The bare root trumpet vines have sprouted and seem to be floruishing in a shaded area at the edge of the woods out back.

I look forward to these plants taking over a difficult hillside and edge of the woods--flowers next year!

These plants arrived in perfect condition. In fact, the best I've every received. Somehow paypal charged me twice and they caught it and gave me a credit back.

My order arrived when promised. The plants were in great shape! I live in western NC so they did not have to travel far. I would order from Classy Groundcovers again.

CG = A++++ I've been gardening for 35 years, and I have been planting beds of pachysandra for over 4 years. This is the first time I have purchased my plants from Classy Groundcovers. I was amazed at how much bigger and stronger the plants from CG were compared to the buyers from whom I have ordered in the past. These bare root plants were 3-4 times larger than the plants I had purchased from another online grower. I am converted; CG will be my go to source from now on. This company does not disappoint! I have ordered from them twice. Plants arrive so well packed that they do well until I am ready to plant. I look forward to ordering from them again.

Just received my third order in as many years (and places) from CG. I've now got 200+ Aztec Gold and White Triangle daylilies growing in two different states, all but 25 of them being enjoyed by somebody else. (Hopefully, we aren't moving ever again, so I'll be able to enjoy this recent batch.) I may have lost five daylilies out of all the ones I've bought, but given that I always receive more than I order and my order comes quickly and well-packaged, I'm not complaining. (The White Triangles, I remembered, taste like iceberg lettuce, so that's what I got this time. CG is a great source for edible landscapers.)

My plants came very quickly and in good condition. They are growing well so far.

Just received my first order from Classy Groundcovers. Delivery was lightning quick and the plants are large and beautiful. The veronica arrived in bloom - a gorgeous sight in late February. The company timed delivery for Friday. I planted everything over the weekend. No transplant shock - everything doing very well.

My overall experience has been GREAT! After placing my order Classy Groundcovers emailed me to ask if I was ready to receive my order. The plants arrived on the day they said and they were in wonderful condition. I would recommend them and will order again.

I live in Tampa. Ordered 100 Vinca Major plants last fall. They sent me about 150. I got some in the ground the day they arrived and some had to wait a few days. All, every single one, is alive and growing. I was counting on maybe half surviving. Nice, healthy plants and lots of them. Great value.

The plants I ordered arrived quickly and in great condition. Because of a holiday, the shipping schedule had to be changed a bit, and the company contacted me and explained the delay and gave the new date. I am hopeful that the plants will do well. They certainly started out in fine shape!

In Fall of 2010, I ordered plugs for Dwarf Mondo Grass. I ordered a set of 50 which arrived quickly, well-packaged and still moist, not overly damp. I teased them out a piece at a time, having made the bed ready to receive them with 50 holes done by a dibble. When the 50 holes were filled, I still had pieces leftover so I dibbled more holes, spacing the extra plugs within the designated area. It is now over a month later. The plugs look happy and healthy, adding greenery to a barren soil area in half shade. I don't see even one failure. I am going to give the plugs some winter protection as the company advised for zone 6. I will place a carpet of finely shredded leaves mixed with some conifer needles inbetween all the plugs for the cold months. Based on the performances of the similar Liriope and Black Mondo Grasses, I feel certain this Dwarf Mondo Grass will do well in my garden. Hi folks, I wanted to let you know, the Carolina Jessamines we received were in excellent shape when they arrived. We planted them immediately and after a couple of days, they still look great. We have high hopes for them. Also, thanks for the speedy shipment.

In 2009, I ordered 1000 bareroot periwinkle and 100 bareroot daylilies. I have been so pleased that I repeated the same order this year, 2010. I have ordered from this company 3 times now. It is great to do business with a company that delivers as promised. I love them and would recommend them to all.
My plants were delivered very healthy and I have not lost one yet.

We recently built a house on a bluff and had to have extensive terracing done on both sides of the house. We wanted to use a variety of ground covers but because we live in a small rural town, large quantities were not available. I found Classy Groundcovers through Dave's Garden and decided to give them a try. I was very skeptical of ordering plants online so my first order was only 2 flats (48 plants). I was very impressed with the speed they were received as well as the quality of the plants and how they were packed. Over the past 2 months, I have ordered 26 flats (624 plants) of 4 different varieties and have not lost one single plant. They are all doing extremely well. I highly recommend Classy Groundcovers, will definitely use them again and love the added touch of a "thank you" gift..

In July of 2009 I ordered 900 Pachysandra bare root plants from Classy Groundcovers which arrived in excellent condition in central Illinois. Based upon the excellent service I have ordered another 300 plants in June 2010. I find it easy to use the ordering process, the plant quality is very good, and the quick shipping allows me to precisely plan my planting time. Good company, good products, excellent service.

Excellent personal service! I received my shipment as promised, and the daylilies are now blooming and are beautiful. The best part is that Catherine thought she was sold out, but she took a look in the "back field" and found 50 Nashville Stars (my first choice), offered them at an amazing discount, and exceeded my expectations! I believe her motives are not profit-driven but of of a pure love of gardening.
