Comments regarding Classy Groundcovers

I ordered 250 plants this past weekend via classygroundcovers.com. They were on my porch this morning, Wednesday, February 28, 2007. All the plants look healthy and ready to go. I'm impressed and pleased with the fast shipping and plant quality and prices!

I am so excited about ClassyGroundcovers. I have a lot of ground to cover, now that my husband and I have moved to a new home in Tennessee. The lot slopes and has poor soil, but CGC offers a multitude of plants to help me create a beautiful garden. My order of creeping raspberry was delivered in three days and all the plants were healthy and well-rooted. I have never received such beautiful plants through mail (email) order! I am already planning my next order.

I ordered some last minute plants to take advantage of our break in the weather & the delivery was extra quick (especially for being free) and the plants looked great...motivated me to get them planted within an hour of arriving :-)
Can't wait to see the lilies next summer! Will definitely order from this company again.

I'm trying to build a world class garden around my acre of land. I couldn't do it without Classy, Dave's Garden Watchdog, Santa Rosa Gardens, Bridgewood, High Country, and Digging Dog. Thanks folks. Oh, and Wayside and Springhill, although their orders come late and sometimes their plants are alittle iffy.

Based on the glowing comments on this site, I ordered my ground cover plants. I had high hopes and I can happily say that I was more than satisfied. I was ecstatic! The order arrived promptly and was packed beautifully using newspaper so it took very little time to unpack. Every single plant was big, green, healthy--just in terric shape!! All of my plants flourished this summer. I will be ordering from them again this spring. This is a company that has pride in what they do.

Classy Groundcovers exceeded all my expectations, from their: well organized web site, ease of ordering, super-fast free delivery and superb packing, to receiving: 50+ healthy green foliaged daylilies with succulent bare root tubers all for the unheard of price of $30. Anyone needing to mass out a garden or naturalize a lot should look no further than Classy Groundcovers.
Their web site enabled me to plan my garden wish list with their "tools" such as; the plant calculator and "view last seen pictures" so I wouldn't get confused trying to decide what I needed. After printing out their order form and mailing them a check I received an e-mail confirmation and my order was filled within three days! They trusted me with my personal check and I'll trust them for additional orders!

After vowing to never order on line again, Classy Groundcovers has a customer for life! I placed my first order on a Sunday night and had my plants on my front porch in Ohio when I came home from work on Wednesday. The plants were of exceptional quality and the price just couldn't be beat. It's so good to deal with a company that does what is says it will do.

First of all, I probably wouldn't have ordered from this company if it wasn't for Garden Watchdog. I was skeptical because the prices are so good - I was thinking "you get what you pay for". But then I saw all of these excellent reviews and ordered 50 bareroot vinca minor. With the FREE shipping they arrived today (delivery took 3 days). Although I haven't planted them yet I am confident they will be fine. They look amazing. I wasn't expecting such large plants for a bare root order. Also, the roots are huge and very healthy. Now if it would only stop raining...

Last spring, I ordered 150 daylilies as a gift for a friend who had some ground to cover. The plants were clean, healthy and well packed. I still regret that I didn't take one or two for my garden but expect to place an order for myself one day soon. Perfect vendor.

Wow! These people greatly exceeded my expectations -- twice! Two orders of 50 daylillies each. They shipped exactly as ordered, in great packaging, in the timeframe they promised and in great condition.

Classy Groundcovers is a class act in every way. I ordered 50 daylilies- my first time ordering such a plant so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. They were shipped quickly and arrived very carefully packaged. The roots are huge and so healthy looking! I planted them immediately and then counted them. There weren't 50...there were MORE! All this for under $25. Unfortunately my home is up for sale and I probably won't get to enjoy the full benefit and beauty of these plants, but I will definitely be ordering from Classy Groundcovers again when I move into my new home and get my garden all planned out.

I just wanted to let people in the west (AZ, CA, NV, OR or WA) know they shouldn't waste expend valuable time and effort selecting and filling their cart with plants like I did, only to discover at checkout that THEY DO NOT SHIP TO THESE STATES.

Again, if you live in AZ, CA, NV, OR, or WA (and AK and HI), do not bother with this company.

I recently ordered 70 ivy plants in 2 1/4 pots. They arrived within 1 week in excellant condition, some of the plants were already over a foot long. The ordering process was painless!

I placed my first order with Classy Groundcovers for for the wild flower, chrysogonum virginianum (green and gold), for a community rain garden. The potted plants arrived several days later in wonderful condition. They have been in the ground for several weeks and are already spreading on the berm where they are planted. I have shared my experience with some of my gardening friends about your service and great products. You provided what the major nurseries in the area did not have available. Thank you.

I ordered 150 bareroot daylilies, received them quickly and securely packaged. What still amazes me is the size they are, I have given up on ordering plants... mostly small in size and /or moldy. These are absolutely the healthiest bareroots I have ever recieved.
Their Customer service is excellent... I was not left wondering if they received any emails, they always responded to any questions.
I am going to order more, actually already did. Another thing is they care about the condition of the plants, no sitting in a hot dark box over the weekend. Going to pass their name on to friends and relatives. Got to say Thanks again to Classy Groundcovers you have a satisfied customer here.

1100 ajuga reptans is what I figured would be needed for a perfect groundcover on a hillside coming up my driveway. With a little trepidation I placed the order to be shipped on the following Monday. I needn't have worried. By Wednesday afternoon the order had been delivered. Classy Groundcovers had met and exceeded my expectations. Every single plant arrived in pristine condtion. The plants were larger, healthier, and less expensive the ones I looked at just last week at my local nursery. The price difference was nearly 30 percent. My hat is off to a company that still believes the the best business plan is to satisfy the customer with prompt and efficient service, combined with a competively priced quality product.

I ordered a bundle of 50 mixed daylily plants. What I got was 86 plants. I got at least 50 plants with root systems the size of my hand or larger plus another 36 smaller ones. Some of the small ones only had one or two roots, but I planted them as separate plants.

After having a very poor experience with another company this year, I wanted to be sure and applaud Classy groundcovers for supplying the healthy, vigorous, and good sized Dianthus plants that I received last year. They have quadrupled in size since planting them last spring, and have been in full bloom now for 3 weeks. If you could see the broken starts I received from another company last week, you would understand why I wanted to put in this review now. This company puts faith back into the mail order experience! Next time when Classy doen't have what I want, I think I will just come up with a substitute plant!

What a find. I just happened across this web site last week and ordered 50 daylilies just to see what they would be like since the price was excellent and the free shipping was a bonus. I received the daylilies today only three business days after placing my order. The daylilies are beautiful and healthy and well packaged. These plants look like they have just been dug right out of the garden. I have been ordering plants for several years and never have I received such healthy beautiful plants from these other big name big price plant and seed companies. I wish I had found them before. I will definitely be a return costumer.

I ordered Phlox and Liriope Spicata. Both arrived in 2 days. Excellent size. I was very surprised. You never know what you will get from mail order. I would highly recommend this company. I will be ordering more.

I ordered 24 ice plants from Classy groundcovers in March. I specifically specified to please not ship until April. I was having surgery and would be gone for a month. The request is printed on my invoice.

Unfortunately, they shipped them very quickly and they arrived within a week -- when I got back home 2 weeks later, they are all pretty dead.

The plants were packaged well and in pots and looked like they were probably pretty good size plants originally.

I ordered 50 daylilies from this company. I received my order very quickly and the plants are beautiful and healthy. I will absolutely order from this company again!

Received our first order from Classy Ground Covers yesterday (24 phlox, 70 pachysandra and 100 bare root daylillies).

As others have already stated, the plants arrived in excellent condition. Which has NOT been our experience with other "popular" mail order nurseries. The daylillies we purchased were on sale -at 67 cents a piece - WOW is all I can say - they were impressive in size and condition.

Today, I ordered an additional 48 phlox and 200 daylillies. Need I say more ....

As others have mentioned, the orders are received in days - not weeks. With Classy Ground Covers, I can PLAN when I will be working in the garden. Versus some other mail order companies when you never know when the plants will arrive.

Finally, as a response to their "minimum quantities", which may be too many plants for a small, single gardener - I say find some gardening friends and divey up the plants!

I ordered from Classy Groundcover again this year as I was very happy with the order last year. The variegated pachysandra that I ordered last year is growing beautifully.

Classy Groundcovers IS very classy! My beautiful ferns arrived quickly. The bareroot "Stella" daylilies are very nice plants. This company also sent a "Classy Groundcovers" cap along with a planting tool...a nice surprise. Classy, clever advertising! Don't let the word "groundcover" keep you from looking at their plants. If you need plants at great prices, this is the place!

I was pleasantly surprised with the hosta I recieved. They have strong root systems,and were wrapped with damp moss packaged real good and the shippment was faster then I expected. I ordered on Sunday and received them Wendsday.Thanks

I have a very steep slope that is difficult to mow. I'd been looking for an evergreen groundcover, and after some research, decided to try asiatic jasmine. Classy Groundcovers is the only place I was able to find a large number of starter plants at a good price. As promised, the shipment arrived before the weekend, and was very well packaged and moist. I planted them the next day, and they are all looking good. I'm looking forward to having the groundcover fill up the slope to not only look great, but also cut down on maintenance. One of the best parts of the transaction was the free shipping, which went a long way in helping make my decision.

Ordered 50 bare-root liriope plants. They arrived in outstanding condition, packed moist packing material, bright green, and quickly. I just ordered 100 more of these plants (a bargain at $0.57/plant).

Since finding this company on Dave's in the spring, I've place 3 orders. I can't say enough about both the condition of the plants and all the sphagum I get with the plants [use it in the garden]. Kudos also to the wonderful customer service. I emailed about an oversite and my e-mail was returned almost instantly by a phone call. Unfortunately, I got to the call as it was being hung up.After returning the call and getting a bad connection, my called was returned 3 times until it was a good one. The owner apologized and answered my questions, and immediately took care of my concerns. Unlike some I've dealt with in over 40 yrs of gardening, this company is
A-1 with me for the plants, prices and service.
