Comments regarding Diane's Flower Seeds

I've been ordering from her for several years. She always has beautiful, unusual seeds and they germinate well. She is really one of my favorites. I bought several from her again this year and I have been very pleased.

WOW. Placed an order <2 hrs ago and it already shipped! Now if only they could sell Spring...

This is the second year I've ordered from Diane's and I continue to be impressed. The selection and price are great and shipping is super fast. I'll continue to order from Diane's.

I have ordered seeds several times in the past few years and have been very happy with the results - beautiful plants.

This was my second year ordering from this company. Great communication and delivery. Will order from this company again.

She was very quick to send me the seeds. They arrived within 3 days of my ordering. I hope the seeds are as good to me as Diane was.

I ordered my perennial flower seeds for community garden projects. The seeds arrived within days, and some germinated within 2 weeks of having placed my order. The seeds come with germination information and I have had questions answered twice, promptly, via email. The packets are plain, sans pictures, but seem to be in accord with the no-nonsense get it done right the first time attitude of the company. I couldn't be more pleased.

I ordered three packets off seeds and received them very quickly. Prices are very fair and the selection of seeds is great. I am a beginner gardener and this is my first time starting anything by seed. So far I have 6 little flax seedlings growing after 6 days.

Diane's seeds had both heirloom varieties I was looking for. Excellent customer service and fast shipping. Excellent germination rates. I will be ordering from her again! I would recommend this company!

Great experience. I placed an order a couple of months ago and was waiting to see what kind of germination rate I got before posting a review. I'm very happy with the number of happy little seedlings.

A few hours after I placed my order, I rethought and realized I needed some more seeds than I'd ordered. I got a prompt reply to place an additional order for which shipping would be refunded (it was, and quickly). Seeds arrived quickly and were clearly labeled. There was also a bonus packet of seeds which were clearly marked as free additional seeds (so I didn't wonder if there was a mistake on my order).

Overall, great experience, I'll be ordering again next year.

First time ordering from Diane's. I was replacing some seeds back-ordered with another company so I could I get them started. Ordered online on a Saturday and the the seeds arrived and were started the following Thursday. From Send button to seed pot in less than five full days! Also, good prices, generous quantity and some free seeds too! They have me as a yearly customer for sure.

I ordered many tomato seeds from Diane. I have had GREAT germination rates! I also recieved a packet of free seeds. They were seeds of a black variety of tomato that I would never have thought to try. I can't wait to plant and taste this new variety. I would highly advise ordering from this seller!

This has been a good year for me, seeds ordered from 10 companies and everything now received.

Receieved seeds less than 4 working days after ordering (holiday weekend). Packed very well, like the clearly labeled small plastic envelopes-so you can plan for how may you want to sow and share the others!

Extra obviously chosen with care as it fits my gardening plan quite well. Web-site easy to use, shipping costs VERY reasonable.

I received my seeds today. I opened the package and started going through them all (50+ packets). I was so excited when I saw a free pack of pepper seeds. I continued sorting and found 2 more packets of FREE seeds. One of those packets was scarlet flax. I was just telling my husband that I needed to order. If everyone could see the smile on my face there would be no question on whether or not to order from Diane!!

This is my third year ordering from Diane's seeds. I have purchased both garden seeds and flowers and have been delighted by both. Diane's daylillies are amazing! They are the highlight of my Gardens. If you have any space in your yard, fill it with Diane's daylillies! My vegetables were also excellent last year and I had a record harvest. Ordering seeds in the spring is one of my favorite things now. I am looking forward to another great year.

Very happy with this first seed order, recommended by DG's. Happy to have hard to find seeds.

I ordered for the first from Diane a couple of weeks ago, received the seeds promptly with good instructions and excellent packaging. She has some unusual seeds. One that I have been looking for was Tithonia Aztec Sun, a yellow tithonia, which I could find only at Park's (but with poor germination). I am hopeful that Diane's germinate better. All reports indicate that will be the case so I look forward to spring and summer with my new seeds!

Placed an order and received it within a week. The turn around time was great. Diane's Flower Seeds selection is quite good and the descriptions of each flower helpful. I also very much like the packaging the seeds come in, they are in glassine seed envelopes placed inside a small ziplock bag, making the bag very easy to re-seal if you don't plant all of the seeds, or recycle if you do use all the seeds.

I will report back on germination but so far am quite happy with Diane's Flower Seeds and will order from them again without hesitation.

I ordered one packet of tomato seeds from Diane. It came within one week, was packaged neatly, and included simple instructions. What more could I ask for! Keep up the great service Diane.

I ordered from Diane last year and had very good results from her seeds. I really appreciate that she has glassine envelopes available for a smaller seed gatherer. Highly recommend her!

Thank you Diane. After reading Secrets of a Seedswoman I don't know how you do it all and with a smile. My order was filled with a little extra in a timely manner. Need some cold weather to get some of my seeds going. But I know that they will grow to be a wonderful addition to my garden.

I have purchased seeds from Diane several times. I have found her to be very helpful with questions. She ships her products out promptly. Her prices and postage rates are the best I have found on the internet. I would highly recommend purchasing seeds from her.

Fast delivery. Seeds were clean, well-packed, and generous. Great germination rate; 80% of Agastache sprouted within the first week.

My first order was for several varieties of Agastache, and it came with a free pack of another A. species, which is a very thoughtful choice. (Although I lost that tray to a microburst wind gust... perhaps we were just not fated to be. Next year...)

The website echews flashy design for browsable elegance. Plant listings are informative, but a little more on post-germ. care like pruning would have been nice for this gardening beginner. The in-depth articles are immensely enjoyable reads.

Only wish I had found the site a little earlier in the season.

I ordered glassine envelopes from Diane's Flower Seeds. The transaction was straightforward, and I was amazed at how quickly my envelopes arrived.

I ordered 3 seed packets earlier this month (Scabiosa ochroleuca, Linaria reticulata, and Centaurea cyanus mix). They came very quickly and they were a great deal for the amount of seeds. Also, each packet was in a reclosable zip-like small plastic bag which is great since it's resealable.

Outstanding. I ordered seeds on Tuesday afternoon, received a confirmation email straight away, and the seeds were in my mailbox this afternoon (Friday). Generous amounts of seed, nicely packaged. The website is easy to navigate with clear descriptions and photos of plants, and helpful advice from Diane, with her lists and links for more information. Especially happy to find a couple of varieties here that I haven't seen elsewhere. Will order again from this company. Thanks, too, for the free (surprise) packet of seeds!
