On March 12 or 13, 2007, I placed a small order with containerseeds.com. My Paypal account was debited for the order on March 13, 2007.

I contacted them on March 25, 2007, asking for a tracking on my order. I received no response.

I contacted then a second time requesting a refund or response. They contacted me stating that two of my seed choices were out of stock.

Since I was planning on starting some of their seeds indoors, I was disappointed, but responded to them that I would try to be patient.

I now have most of my garden planted and still have received no seeds, or estimated delivery date, or any other updating correspondence from containerseeds.com. I contacted them today requesting an immediate full refund on my order.

It appears that containerseeds.com is one of those companies that used to do a good job, but no longer does.

I do not intend to deal with contanerseeds.com again.

Update February 2008:
I contacted ContainerSeeds again and explained my problem last year. They responded that the post office screwed up several of their orders. They also offered to refund or credit my purchase amount. I requested the refund and received it a week or so later. I still don't plan to order from them again until I see a better track record, but at least they did honor last year's mees up.

On March 20 I placed an order for 7 packs of seeds and paid with PayPal. I received my PayPal receipt shortly after my purchase. And then the wait began. I attempted one email but didn't expect a response after reading the other comments here. I waited some more, nothing. I finally called last week (end of week of April 2). The phone was answered by a very nice man who stated that they had been having problems receiving PayPal payments and he would have another person give me a call regarding this. I never received a call. Today, April 10, my seeds arrived minus 1 pack that I had ordered. They had been shipped yesterday so the shipping time was quick. My husband called to let them know that one pack was missing and the gentleman he spoke to was very polite and said that the seeds were backordered and they would send them out as soon as they come in. I am giving this a neutral because of lack of communication and not giving it a negative because the people have been very polite to deal with on the phone.

I placed and order online with the company on April 7, 2006 and was charged that day. It is now May 2, 2006 and I have still not received my order. I was sent an email 2 weeks ago stating that some items I had requested were on backorder and had just come in, therefore my order had shipped on April 19, 2006, however, I never received my order, or a reply to my last email informing them that I still had not received the seeds, and asking for a full refund.

I placed and order with Baker Creek seeds on April 13, 2006, and received it on April 19, 2006.

I am very disappointed with the poor customer service of this company.

8:14am Just spoke with a gentleman at containerseeds.com, and he informed me that he will send me a refund, but he doesn't know what happened to the order. That still doesn't explain not getting a response or some sort of contact before this. I understand that things happen as I own and operate a mail order business myself, but I never ever not respond to customer concerns, so that part of the situation is still disappointing. I will await my refund for now.
