I ordered native seeds from Ohio Prairie Nursery last fall, wintersowed them, and planted the seedlings this spring and summer. It was my first year with native seeds, and I am happy with the results.

Ordered 4 packets of seeds, which were shipped and received in good time. Will see how they germinate and grow this season.

One of the few suppliers of native seeds and plants for the Ohio/Great Lakes region. Primarily designers and consultants for prairie and natural landscapes, they have enlarged their online seed and plant offerings to the public in the past few years. They are located in Hiram Ohio but do not have a retail location to visit. They do host an open house from time to time.

I have purchased a few basic seeds from them and also know they are supporters of 'native plant' interest groups in the region. I am especially interested in their native plants and seeds to attract Ruby-throated Hummingbirds and the regional butterfly population (although these plants are not specifically described so on their website).

I expect to purchase more from them in the next growing season.
