Comments regarding Easy to Grow Bulbs

I ordered 3 Rhizomes each of the Rose Futurity Canna Lilies and 3 of the Crimson Beauty Canna Lilies. I received 4 of the Rose Futurity Canna Lilies and 4 of the Crimson Beauty Canna Lilies Rhizomes, all were planted, all have come up beautifully. The people were very helpful as to answering questions I had also and I would highly recommend them as the first place to buy Canna Lilies from. I was very pleased and will be a forever customer.

Gladiola corms I ordered from Easy To Grow Bulbs were the largest I have ever purchased, and the flowers they grew were terrific.

I truly have recommended this company to all of my friends who garden. I've been impressed with every order, and I can't say enough great things about them. The Triumphator lilies I ordered a couple of months ago are thriving. More recently, I ordered some glads and dahlias, and I was definitely impressed. The tubers and bulbs were huge and very healthy looking. Between the large clumps and the smaller tubers, there were more sprouts than I could count. The bulk of the plants in my garden have come from this company and their affiliated site. Everything I've planted has come up beautifully, and when you're a new gardener like myself, this seems like a REAL blessing. Whenever I receive compliments on my flowers, I know who to really thank! I ordered Eucharis bulbs. Before i knew it, they were on my doorstep, very well packaged but the best part was opening the package & looking at the HUGE bulbs .

I've made several orders with easy to grow bulbs and they have all been nice sized bulbs or plants and have done well in my yard. I've only had trouble with the Freesia I ordered, but that was only because I didn't read up on them beforehand - they do best in zone 9 or 10 where as I am in zone 7b. I've dug them up and will relocate them to a hotter part of my yard. I recommend them to anyone in warmer climates, because they offer a lot of items for the southern gardener.

i highly recommend them. i placed a small order of gladiolus and lily mix. i received big bulbs, and i'm mostly impressed with their lilies, they are big, sprouting, and growing fast. one of them was shipped with a broken tip, and two gladiolus bulbs were in not so good condition. i contacted them and they send me replacement right away with a lot of extras!!! two extra lilies and many extra gladiolus. good prices, great customer services and great bulbs. i'm one happy customer. i'll, for sure, order from them again.

Ordered a variety for my hanging baskets, mostly bulbs, most doing quite well now that warmer weather has reached Chicagoland. The passion vine can be practically watched growing it is taking off so quickly!

This is my second order and was pleased with the quality and processing time. The lillies I purchased last year are doing well. This company allows me to be able to afford the lillies that I love.

I ordred two varieties of Glads as well as some Freesia. Due to some unseasonably warm temps, I requested that my order be shipped earlier. I received a response right away with an updated shipping date. Communication with this vendor was prompt, friendly and my overall experience was very good. The bulbs arrived on schedule and were healthy and are now blooming away.

I ordered cannas from them for the first time this year, and was impressed by the generous size and excellent condition of the roots I received. There was a mistake made in my first order, but I found the company to be very easy to reach and very responsive in correcting the problem. Two thumbs up!

I recently ordered 13 Appleblossom Flower Carpet Roses. I received only 12 & the company quickly sent out the missing 1. The bare root roses were all healthy looking "sticks" as my partner called them & with a few days were putting out new leaves. I'm looking forward to my first rose.

I'm pretty new to gardening, and decided this year to order small batches of a bunch of different plants to try from several different companies so I could learn who to deal with in the future. Of the companies I ordered from, the bulbs I received from this company were by far the biggest, healthiest, and nicest looking overall. Out of the 50 or so mixed bulbs I ordered, 3 seemed a little off to me. 2 of the 12 Ornithogalum bulbs I ordered seemed a little stale. Also, 1 of the 3 ginger lily bulbs was a little undersized when compared with the other two very large bulbs in the bag. Everything else looked great and I was extremely pleased with the purchase. I let Kathleen know in an e-mail that I was very happy overall, but also about the 3 bulbs that I felt were a little off for her own quality control purposes. I did not ask for refund or replacement of any kind. About 2 weeks later I received a box in the mail. It contained 36 Ornithogalum bulbs to replace the 2 bad ones I had received, and another bag of 3 large and healthy ginger lily bulbs to replace the one slightly undersized one. This is with no prompting or or complaining from me. I would have to say that in all of my life, this is the best customer service that I have ever encountered from any business of any kind. Feel safe trusting this company to treat you to excellent bulbs and unmatched customer service, I certainly will again in the future.

I have purchased bulbs and tubers from this company 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years. Each time I've found the products to be EXCELLENT, shipping to be FAST and the prices to be quite reasonable. They also respond to emails if you have questions or concerns and do so in a TIMELY and FRIENDLY manner. I've been impressed with their products and customer service on every transaction with them and would highly recommend them to everyone.

ETG provides excellent customer service. Kathleen was kind enough to modify an existing order and ship it quickly. And although the Lily of the Valley ground cover pips are not doing as well as I'd like (only about 1/4 of the pips II planted are thriving), I have high hopes for the tuberose and freesia! - the bulbs were absolutely beautiful.

I received 2 citrus trees that were beautiful and packed extremely well. Kathleen provided customer service that is second to none.Just a great transaction. I will not hesitate to do business with this company again.

I ordered 4 different types of Dahlias, 1 type of Begonia, 3 different Oxalis, and received Ranunculus as my adventure pack. Customer service has been excellent! I was very pleased that the company mailed these early per my request. I wanted to get them started indoors. All arrived this past Friday and were the best looking bulbs I have ever received. A couple of the Dahlias had started to sprout in their bags. I put them in pots and they seem to be doing just fine. I will update later on anything else of note.

Before my order, I emailed EasytoGrowBulbs about several different types of bulbs and if they would be well suited for my area (So. Calif) and was very happy to get a prompt and thorough reply. They really know their stuff!! When my bulbs arrived, I was shocked to see how much bigger they were than those at my local nursery. I definately recommend these guys and will buy more from them soon...JT

The first time I ordered from this company, I forgot an item and had to make a second order a few minutes later. Upon request, customer service promptly (within an hour) combined the orders so I could save shipping and sent an updated email invoice. Kathleen in Customer Service also informed me in detail about a backordered item, and gave me several options about how I wanted the B/O handled.

The order shipped the next businessday (Monday), and arrived on the East Coast by Friday. One of the carpet roses I got sprouted new baby leaves within two days! And the Priscilla gladiolus are bigger, healthier, and more impressive than anything I've bought locally in over a decade of growing glads.

Found this place online, it was the ONLY place I could find the Shamrock Plants I wanted. They have excellent service. I will be back to order in the fall. One of the items got left off my order ( which may have been my fault as I added on some bleeding hearts after the fact) So I delt with customer service twice. Not only was the product shipped out right away, but Customer service was helpful, friendly and a pleasure to deal with, in a time where getting any service seems to be rare, having great customer service is refreshing.

I have ordered twice from this website and I have been happy both times. The shipping seemed reasonable and I got my stuff quickly.

I live in Atlanta Georgia, Zone 7.

On Nov 13, I placed my first order with Easy to Grow. I ordered two bare root hostas a royal standard and gold standard. I received them Nov 15, that was a plus, we plant lovers love when the delivery truck arrives.

I am a big, big mail order plant person, so I pretty much know what is a good deal and what is not. Well, when I received my two hostas, I almost fell over!! They were so low in price I was not expecting a whole lot. The hostas had three to four eyes each, they were like 2-3 year old plants. I was planning to pot them for now in small pots, but after receiving such large roots, I had to rummage around for a temporary pot large enough to put them in.

I recommend Easy to Grow highly, not only for their economical price, fast delivery, but for their exceptional merchandise. They have a new customer to add to their list who is very, very please and rates them A++++++.

I rate this .com on a scale of 1 to 10, a Super 10 !!! In the past 2 months I have placed 2 orders and each have arrived within a couple of days. The Bearded Iris arrived firm and plump, Extra Large, and with proper green trimmed leaves that were healthy (Not rotted out, mushy, moldy and withered/dead leaves that arrived the month before from the well known mail order company of J& # ) ...in other words easytogrowbulbs ship superb rhizomes! !!
My second order, that of Freesias arrived 2 days after my phone order was placed at 1(866) 725-5361. I was greeted by the delightful Kathleen. I had a few questions on the different kinds of bulbs that are offered by this company. She readily explained which variety of bulbs were best adaptive to my climate and yard exposures also descibed in detail the true color and scents of the each flower. By the way, the Freesias are the size of Kumquats...Extra Large, firm & unblemished.

Great selection, fair prices, and quick shipping. One of my bags of bulbs had only 9 instead of the expected/advertised 10, so I did send an email. It's not a huge deal, and overall I am still satisfied and will likely order from them again.

I've been trying to announce my excitement about Easy To Grow Bulbs since very late last spring. I actually ordered a tad late for zone 8 and was concerned that the delivery folks would drop the box in the hot sun and not try to knock or holler or find someone who might get them out of the sun before they rotted. The owner(a female, I had her name but lost it on a bad hard drive!) called me back within minutes of my submission and helped me figure out a way to determine when the tubers would arrive so I could be here to make sure they were cared for properly. The tubers arrived exactly when expected - I was even out in the yard when they arrived. These Dahlia tubers were the biggest, healthiest,most well packed tubers I've seen in all my years of growing Dahlias. I will never buy an important bulb or tuber anywhere else, not even locally. My only wish is that they sold ROSES too.

I recently placed an order for the dwarf calla lily. I was anticipating their arrival. I couldn't take it anymore and I ran to my local home depot to pick up some calla lilly tubers to plant in my garden. Since this was my first experience planting these tubers, I didn't know what the difference would be in health, size, weight from EasytoGrow Bulbs. Two days later I received my tubers from Easy to Grow and WOW!!! What a difference. The tubers I bought from Home Depot were the between the size of a baby carrot and a small ginger root. The tubers from Easy to Grow were huge. I mean gigantic. They were almost the size of a baseball if not larger. I am so thrilled with the health of their tuber that I can't wait to see how they will look in the spring. Of course, I am going to compare them with the tubers I bought from Home Depot. I will order from Easy to Grow Bulbs...again, and gain.

I ordered 18 Red Peacock and about 140 Dutch Iris. All bulbs arrived as they stated. They claim to only sell the largest bulbs and I can attest that they met and mostly exceeded their claim. The 18 Amaryllis I purchased are all the size of a large orange and in beautiful condition. I spoke at length with Kathleen, who I believe to be in customer service and she was terrific. A wealth of information, extremely courteous and an absolute pleasure to talk too. Oh yeah, I've gone the Ebay route and others only to receive bulbs that are small and not in very good health. These bulbs are by far the best I have seen anywhere. Great company, great service, great advice and I will do all my bulb shopping here! I cannot yet attest to the vitality of the bulbs this company sells, but the customer service is outstanding. I made a mistake when I was placing the order online; they called me, asked for correct information and processed my order while I was on the phone. I received large and healthy looking bulbs two days later.

I have been buying from this company for the last year-and-a-half. I stumbled across their web site like one of your members, by accident. I used to go right by their location when visiting San Diego and didn't know it. Anyway, I have had nothing but outstanding service when ordering. Outstanding, knowledgeable, and prompt replies to my questions. Outstanding communication regarding specials or new arrivals, and most importantly I have received the best, most fabulous, and yes, again, outstanding quality of bulbs, cuttings and trees. I ordered around 24 reblooming iris from this company, six different varieties of iris from this company. There was a shipping delay that was out of their control, about half of their stock took longer than expected to reach the correct size. And of course all of my varities were the ones that took longer.

Kathy offers a great customer service experience. I received every single variety yesterday. The company says the rhizomes are 3 - 5 fans. Every single one I received had a large rhizome and 6 + fans. I will always recommend them for reblooming iris. I order some non reblooming and some reblooming from C and T Iris patch and the rhizomes were whimpy compared to these.

I will definitely order from them again.

I ordered pink lily of the valley pips and they are now blooming and are huge, gorgeous and I have absolutely no complaints! They were packaged exceptionally and arrived within days of my order! Not only that, they responded quickly to any inquiries I had, will email me in January when the pink lily of the valley's are in stock again for next year and were very nice to deal with!! Definitely will order again!
