Ok, yes the Asparagus was a great deal from Daisy farms. But why bother to pay for all male asparagus if 50% of it turns out to be female? After 2 years of babying my 500 asparagus plants they are loaded with berries.
I don't know if they don't grow the plants properly or don't rogue out the females but Daisy Farms is a complete rip off if they are selling all male plants that have just as many females as any open pollinated variety.
My suggestion is spend a little more elsewhere and don't get ripped off.

A few years later now. I've found that none of the "all male" varieties from Jersey are even close to "all male." This may not be the fault of Daisy farms but rather the seed breeders. I'm changing my rating due to this info.
