Comments regarding Red Barn Gardens

I ordered 4 roses from this nursery, which was linked to the Star Roses site as the fulfillment company for certain varieties. The roses were nicely packed and appeared to be big, healthy things with 5 - 7 canes and a large root system.

However, two of them never leafed out, and the other two developed leaves that quickly wilted and dropped off. Investigation (by Star Roses at my behest) revealed that the nursery had mishandled the plants during dormancy, allowing roots to dry out and die.

Although I was grievously disappointed, I can't totally slam this company since their customer service was extremely friendly and accomodating, and they did fully refund the price of the roses.

I guess these things can happen. Although my first experience didn't go so well, I would give them a second chance.
