Comments regarding Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Co.

I have ordered three times from this company and their delivery is super fast and I mean FAST! Their catalog is a work of art and the variety of what they offer is amazing. These people really have it together!

Shipping was fast, nicely packaged, with a handwritten note thanking me for the order. The quantities and prices were good and I got a little extra packet of seeds to try. I will order from Baker creek much more, as not only was the product and service good, but I like what they stand for and what they are doing... if you know anything about non-GMO and heirloom seeds I'm sure you'll agree. Give them a try, I recommend them very much.

Ordered this month for 2012 Season and with Baker Creek at Rare Seeds and had no problems an will order from them again.

10-Sept-2011 was the first time I placed my seed order with Baker Creek "online" using my credit card...week and a couple of days later they arrived by mail securely packaged in a bubblewrap envelope..,seed packs came in perfect condition with a "free"pack of seeds...I ordered G.Otts morning glory,Ufo Morning glory,Moonflower, red malabar spinach and chines yellow cucumber...all seeds sprouted...Excellent quality, and Service... I will surely be buying from Baker Creek seed co. again..thanks.

I have ordered seeds from this company for the past three years. I have been very pleased with the generous quantities of seeds in the packets and have had very good germination with everything I have ordered. On receipt of my latest order, I discovered that they sent one wrong package. My wife called the next day and the right item was in our mail box within three days (we live in Kansas). I want to go see them sometime. I believe strongly in their mission and will continue to support them with orders.

Just placed my first order and am very pleased. One item was out of stock (a spinach variety) but the value was refunded, although I'd asked them to substitute if possible - perhaps they were out of stock on all similar varieties, it is pretty late in the year. Not terribly displeased, as they included a free gift as well! Very happy, look forward to an excuse to order again! :)

Great Company ! I have placed 4-5 orders and never had a problem. I did receive a check for an out of stock item. I always just ask for a substitute in the "comments" area when I place the order now. I have 98% success rates with their seed stock to include approximately 100 packs of their seeds in the past year. Their shipping is under 4 bucks to NC. You guys rock !!!

I received my order in four days. Website was easy to navigate and informative. Order was processed by someone the next day (their website states the goal is to process within 48 hours from the order being placed) and there was even a handwritten note at the bottom of the invoice saying "Thanks" and a smiley face with the employee's name and the date it was processed. Seeds come with information on the variety and how to sow, plant, and care for on the packet. Packets also state number of minimum seeds included and a picture or sketch of the product included. Great selection and great prices. As many stars as possible for Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds for sure.

My seed order arrived in less than a week with most of the packets packed for 2012! I will be ordering from Baker Creek Seeds again! Thank you for the excellent service!

This makes two years in a row that I have ordered from Baker Creek. Even the seeds I had leftover from last year's order continue to flourish - the Monsieur de Viroflay spinach I bought last year did wonderfully again this year. Last year's tomatoes and eggplant (including the free tomato seeds they sent last year) are also doing wonderfully in this year's garden. And I am quite impressed with this year's Italian melon. Next year I intend to order all my seeds from them!
Not only that, but when I need recommendations, they will go so far as to advise me on things they do not carry, or are even out of, telling me where else to get what I need. This goes beyond my expectations - and represents excellent customer service. Thanks, Baker Creek!

Loved the catalog! Could not ask for better descriptions or pictures of the products they sell. I got my order in a timely fashion. I have been happy with all my seeds but did have some problems with some special radishes I ordered. I emailed them and they gave me a new pack with my next order. I will definitely order from them again and would recommend them to anyone!

Highly recommended. We order twice a year and are always happy. The "free" mystery packet of seeds is always fun as well. This spring, we planted the Watermellon we had received as a gift. WoW! We have also received flowers and this last order, carrots.

I received the seeds I ordered very promptly! They arrived in my mailbox on July 7th, 2011. I Ordered them online on Sunday, July 3rd. There was someone in the office who filled my order out on the 4th of July! Her name is Jeannette. Thank you Jeannette! My order was complete and no substitutes, just the way I had asked for. Thanks for the extra packet of seeds too: Parisienne Carrot. I'll try them next month as fall crop going into winter.

I got seeds for Lovage, a rare plant in the US kitchen, last year. I have tried seeds from some others and those never grow, but this ones did... I am very happy and for this reason I have ordered more this year to make them gift to my friends... we love the fresh Lovage in our soups. The orders arrived very fast I also got free seeds and the seeds catalog which I love.

I ordered, as I usually do, another batch of seed from this company, since they are so reliable and carry not only rare and unusual old heirloom varieties, but also because I know that nothing I ever receive from them will be either GMO or a hybrid variety, (useless for seed-saving purposes). This order was a rush order and the kind gentleman at the other end of my order (Louis) did his absolute very best to ensure that I rec'd my seeds in the speediest manner possible. There was a slight communication issue, but it was due to my lack of providing him with my cell phone #, and since he was therefore unable to reach me, he made the best decision on my order that he could, with the information at his disposal. I will continue to order from this outstanding company, and give them my highest recommendation for products AND customer service and satisfaction...
Aside from that, they strike me as durned nice people to do business with, -a rarity these days.

Baker Seeds accurately filled my order, were not out of stock on anything I ordered, I received the order very promptly (within a week). Great service, and I will post again after germinating. :)

Excellent company! I have seeds from last year I never used and started germinating them. They popped up in no time! Placed another order last week. They always give you an extra "freebie" pack of seeds. Received my packing slip with hand signed thank you note from Crystal. Will continue to use them. Great customer service. Ordered seeds and received them 2 days later. Thanks!

I ordered the following seeds: Kiwano, Ground Cherry, Catalogna Puntarelle Dandelion, Dwarf Jewel Mix- Nasturtium and Mexican Mint

The Kiwano is growing nicely already. Sadly my Ground Cherry seedlings did not survive my clumsy efforts to transplant them. The other seeds will have to wait til next season as I already have a lot of stuff growing in my garden.

Before I forget, they sent me a bonus packet of seeds for 'Parisienne' Carrots. I thought that was such a nice touch! I would definitely order from them again.

Thank you for my seed order. Was disappointed that we didn't get Feverfew and Blessed Thistle seeds - we'll have to order earlier next time around.

I have ordered vegetable, herb and flower seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds for the past two years, placing two to three orders each year. They have great customer services. I received a note saying sorry for the delay which was three days. If that's a delay I will take it. Not to mention a free packet seeds which was unexpected. Will always get my seeds from them.

Great customer service!! I emailed this Co. looking for a certain tomato seed. Quick response and was given the name of another Co. to ask because they don't carry it. I was told that if no luck, they would help further. Hard to find that kind of service anymore :)

Both orders received quickly, even though they said there was a delay due to a large number of orders. Also, received a free packet of carrot seeds for both orders I placed. Not bad, ordering watermelons and pumpkins and getting them plus carrots as a bonus. I haven't had a chance yet to plant the seeds as I just received them, but am pleased with the order.
