The Worm Dude

I was looking to order a worm farming system of some type. After a few weeks of research, I came across the worm inn mega and did some further studies. I eventually decided to buy one from The Worm Dude. I immediately received an email detailing the system. I explained some things to Jerry and this led to some conversations about worms and all that goes into them. From this very moment, we have probably exchanged 10-15 emails with answers to all the questions I have asked him. I now have a working Worm Inn Mega in my garage that is filled with a pound of worms that came from him as well. They were all healthy and wiggling good. I can't say enough about his customer service and the worm inn in general. Awesome stuff. Thanks Jerry for all your help. Great doing business with you. Posted on June 15, 2014, updated June 15, 2014 If you need help with ANYTHING to do with plants or gardening this is the guy you wanna go see. I live in sunnyvale. About 30 min from jerry. I consider him a very close and personal friend. He has taken time out of his very very busy day and given me so much advice and has calmed me down about my peppers first leaves falling off to make way for the new leaves. He's taken my husband and myself into his garden and let us pick berries and let us eat as many of his white raspberries as we like. He has educated both my husband and myself and was patient enough to explain everything we both asked about (me more on the gardening and growing side and my husband is more interested in the worm inn). I have now purchased a pepper plant, 2 lbs of red wigglers, and a worm inn. Jerry has kept in constant touch with me since I have purchased it (over a month) offering me advice for FREE. I don't know of any other company with an owner who cares more for his customers!!! He has even been generous enough to share a little of his own personal supply if biochar and worm castings to get me started! I will be back very shortly to purchase a lady bug inn and more biochar and worm castings. Love the company and adore the man who is behind it! Ask him ANYTHING and you won't be sorry.

On several occasions I have ordered Red Wigglers and European night crawlers from The Worm Dude .I have always received exceptional customer service and excellent worms that are well packaged and in good condition upon arrival.

I ordered Alabama Jumpers from The Worm Dude. Jerry was very helpful in answering questions about the worms and their availability before I placed my order. After my order was placed, Jerry emailed me to double check that the shipping address was correct and ensure that I would be available to receive the worms immediately following shipment. While I was waiting for my order to arrive, Jerry sent weekly updates on worm availability. Jerry notified me when my order was shipped and provided a tracking number. The worms arrived in an appropriate container and were in good condition. I am satisfied with my order and I would purchase worms from The Worm Dude again in the future.

I've purchased many things from Jerry, aka The Worm Dude. Every experience has been a pleasure to do business with the Dude. He is highly knowledgeable and he's always been able to answer all my questions and he's never made me feel stupid or uninformed. He's very helpful and has excellent customer service. He packages everything so they arrive very safe and quickly! I've bought a Worm Inn, Worm Castings and Worms - a few different types and they've always arrived very fresh and wiggly! I received the worms I had ordered from Jerry about a month ago. They arrived in 2 days after he emailed me that they had been shipped, and they were in great condition when they arrived. My 3-year old grandson and I "planted" them in our garden and they went right to town doing what worms do! Working with Jerry was a real pleasure - he kept me informed as to when the worms would be shipped, has a great sense of humor and loves his worms! I would recommend Jerry and his worms anytime. You cannot do better anywhere!

Posted on June 12, 2014, updated June 12, 2014 I was very happy to have found a local worm farm right here in the bay area. Based on the positive reviews here I was expecting to have a nothing but positive experience. Well, not quite. I was surprised by the tracking information that the worms were shipped out of GA. I emailed Jerry to politely inquire about it. For one thing, I wanted to make sure the tracking # was correct, and secondly I was concerned that it's a long way for the worms to travel in a hot box. Jerry replied that my concern was 'irrelevant' because he does this every week. I was quite miffed by the response. The worms did arrive, a day later than promised and with a few dead ones. Overall they seemed fine. The packaging was good I thought. I can't bring myself to give either positive or negative rating, so neutral it is.

Great set up! Used The Worm Inn all summer long to compost my organics. Definitely super effective. Easy to set up, very durable. I used red wigglers for the active component- about 2 pounds. Made beautiful rich fertilizer. Couldn't be happier. It's simple, and the most effective worm composter I've used.

Jerry is a wonderful source of worms, information, and different products for your worms. He is more than willling to share his info with you. I have ordered from him several times and he always surprises me with the excellence of his products. My last 2 orders were castings and worms. The castings were beyond excellent. The worms are now happily munching away at veggie scraps. He even remembered me from my previous orders. I appreciate customer service like that, especially when other companies that I have dealt with for years don't know my name.

I ordered two seperate orders of European Nightcrawlers from the Worm Dude. Both arrived in just a few days after placing the orders and the worms were alive and healthy. I spent some time on the phone with Jerry prior to ordering the first batch as it was my first mail order of worms. He also took the time to explain how to set up the bin, how to deal with any problems in the bin, and how to harvest the castings when ready. Very good person to deal with and is highly recommended.
