This is the closest nursery to my house--the only one even within reasonable hiking distance. They have a great selection of pond plants in season, plus all the pond supplies you might ever need. Their perennial plant selection always has a few things that catch my eye (and my wallet).

They also have some very nice, mellow (lethargic?) old dogs, and at least one cat who likes to show visitors all the choice specimens in between demanding a throrough petting or several.

They have all kinds of rock and pavers for hardscaping, a decent selection of garden accessories/art, containers, assorted water features (fountains, ponds, stones, etc.) and garden-related gifts. On May 30th, 2019, nevadagdn changed the rating from 3 stars to 4 stars and added the following:

While still not my dream nursery, with the closing of several local nurseries, this is now absolutely the best nursery in the area. They have the best selection of plants, a wide selection of decor and hard goods for gardening, gardening supplies, pond plants, xeric plants and all kinds of landscaping services.

Of course I wish the plant prices were lower, but I wish for a lot of unreasonable things. Plant prices seem to be in line with other locally owned nurseries.

This spring they have/had a lot of roses. They still have mostly hybrid teas and similar, and most of them are grafted, but that's what most people want. If there is a rose in any color, they are the ones most likely to have it.
