The Arata farm, aside from being one of the reasons Half Moon Bay is famous for having its pumpkin festival (or ought to be - they grow several varieties and are a great place to get your autumn pumpkins, even if you're just walking into a Rite Aid store somewhere in New England), they set up a different straw-bale maze (castle!) every year, that's worth wandering through even if you don't happen to have kids in tow on the day you visit. It is a great place to bring kids; there is a petting zoo, pony rides, and if you drop by on the right day you might find farm fresh eggs for sale.
