These Elephant Ears are from bulbs, and were grown in North Carolina. They had morning shade and mid to late afternoon sun. Some leaves are 3 feet or larger. Beautiful display all summer. Photographer - Jessica Dezendorf

Here is the inflorescence of Colocasia esculenta showing the spadix. This corm has already shot up 3 blooms in quick succession.

They did poorly in a drier area last year, so this spring I put them by the condensation drip of my A/C. What a difference it made!
