Blue Porterweed, Baton Rouge, LA (8B) August 12, 2009. Lost all of these plants to prolonged freeze this winter (as I do most winters).

In SW Florida. This plant is several years old. I cut it back to a foot tall after each bloom cycle before the flower stems turn brown. Always stays bushy and attractive with no unwanted seedlings.
