This hosta has a good stiff composition, no floppiness.

This is only the second summer for this hosta in my garden. it's near the centre of a narrow bed.

The Halcyon are the blues at the base of the far Crepe Myrtle trunk. Also in this bed are: Sea Thunder, Sagae, Albomarginata, June, Guacamole, Iron Gate, Fragrant Boquet & others

I've found that ajuga makes a nice living mulch for hostas. Helps to keep soil off of the leaves, and the shallow roots don't compete with the hostas. Blue flower spikes in summer are a bonus!

Halcyon with too much sun, losing it's blue. Slug resistant, lovely form. Zone 5b, Milwaukee, WI.
