Closeup of bloom; flowers are small and delicate (not inconspicuous, but not showy like their Portulaca cousins.) The flowers are followed by ruby-red tiny seed pods that look like tiny jewels swaying above the foliage.

This is a neat plant with pretty leaves that seeded itself in my yard. The blossom are very small. The red seed pods are about the size of a bee bee.
